Freedom Fighters

"Dirty Communists!!!"

This is a great game, because killing the Commies in the very streets of New York is great fun. You will never get bored, because there are so many missions to do, also the more bonus objectives you do, the more resistance fighters you can have at your command, something that no other game I have ever played has.

Graphics:

This is an older game, so dont expect any great accomplishments in this area. Anyhoo, there are some cutscenes in between levels which have much better graphics then the gameplay graphics. Shooting is pretty well done, and you have and alternate firing mode where you shoot from first person view (the game is played on third person view). If you have ever played the Hitman series (I have and loved it) then you will see an easy resemblance between both of the games graphics.

Gameplay:

This is easily the game's best area, because the more influence you gain, the more freedom fighters you will get, which is very fun because you can charge your band of freedom fighters through communist infested New York. The bigger your band gets, the larger the street battles between you and the soviets are, hence More Fun! Unfortunately, leading a large band of fighters has it's downsides, because you have to heal them a lot of the time, but aside from this, most people will agree that this is a great feature that the gaming companies have yet to master. Shooting could not have been more fun either, because you can kill so many guys it isnt funny (well actually it is!). There is one disappointing things about this game though.
1. You only get to fight one tank throughout the very long game.
2. The end leaves you at a cliffhanger that you do not know what will happen next. (they are making Freedom Fighters 2 as I speak)

Well, I have not much else to say, except to get this game immediately, because now you can get it for probably less then $20, but I would still get it for $50, so what are you waiting for?! Get this game and you will not be disapointed!
