Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Review by stone100

"A classic Play Station game now on the Game Cube"

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the Game Cube is a remake of the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the Play Station. In this great game you are running around trying to find different things that will help you in your escape from the zombie-infested city, Raccoon City. As you take the role of former S.T.A.R.S member, Jill Valentine, you will have a crazy mutated creature called “Nemesis” bent on trying to kill you.

Gameplay:
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is a very fun survival horror game in which you take on the role as Jill Valentine. The controls in this game are a little hard at first to get use to but, you will get use to them after awhile. There are two different settings for this game when you start a new game. Easy and Hard. Easy is way too easy. In easy, you start out with almost every gun in the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and loads of ammo for each gun. In hard, it's actually a challenge. So if you get this game and find it too easy, try playing hard.

Story:
The Resident Evil series has one of the best story lines in the world for a video game. In Resident Evil 3: Nemesis you are Jill Valentine. You have to escape from Raccoon City which is now infested with zombies and other creatures. As you try to get out of the city, Nemesis is looking for you. Nemesis is a bio-weapon created by Umbrella Inc. and meant to hunt down the last few remaining S.T.A.R.S members. For some reason though this game takes place before the events of Resident Evil 2.

Graphics & Sound:
The graphics in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is better then the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis graphics for the Play Station. Although the graphics are still not that great; it is almost like they just took the original and through it onto the Game Cube. But I am still happy that they did anything with them at all.

The music in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is good. There is a variety of different songs in this game. The guns sound pretty good in this game. They don't sound exactly like real guns but they don't sound like toys. Also the zombies don't sound as stupid as they did in the very first Resident Evil game. Now they actually sound half intimidating.

Final Recommendation:
This is a great game and it would definitely make a wonderful gift to any fan of Resident Evil. You will probably have a lot of trouble finding this game in any store. If you really want this game badly then search for it on eBay. You will have to pay a lot of money to get it from there though because it is really rare. There still is a chance that you might find this game in the stores. Anytime that you are in a game store, keep your eyes open for this game.
