NBA Street V3

"Once again, basketball dominates the video game world. Football's coming from behind..."

The next version of NBA street has finally come out and I'm plesantly surprised at the results. Since I've never experienced the first two versions, I wasn't sure what to expect of this series. It's a nice little basketball game.

Graphics: 9/10

Wow, the graphics in this game are outstanding. They look totally realistic and abstract (not a bad thing) at the same time! The Nintendo-All Stars look a little fake, however, but don't let that get you down, the graphics are really neat in this game! I can even see the ball nice and clear.

Sound/Music: 7/10

The music is good while it lasts, but there aren't enough songs to accompany your game with. While it's fresh, the songs are really neat and fun, but after a while, you'll feel that it's nothing more than your typical video game music. The sound isn't too bad, but it could definitely use some improvement, such as spicing up that announcer's voice a little bit and making more "street" sounds.

Gameplay: 9/10

Well, obviously, this is a basketball game. You make teams and try to win basketball games to get mores stuff like Street Points. A great aspect of this game is that you can customize players, places and more. You'll be able to play NBA stars, customized players, or even the Nintendo All-Stars from the Mario series(Mario, Luigi, Peach). Not much to say about the gameplay except that it's really fun and you might play hours without rest!

Replay: ABOVE AVERAGE

The replay value is basically crushing your friends with your massive team! Also, there are a lot of modes to play, but sometimes, Story Mode gets a little repetitive. Take a break from it when this happens, and start playing after thirty minutes. You'll feel that it's fresh and new again!

NBA Street V3 is definitely better than your average basketball game, and I recommend it the next time you want to shoot some hoops.
