Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom

Review by Rayquaza418

"This is a big step for Yu-gi-oh gaming!"

This game is quite unique. With the new movement system and battle system, it makes a ver interesting game.

Gameplay 9/10

The gameplay in this is awesome. The battle system is very unique, and reminds me of Final Fantasy games. Also, the movement system is very good traveling around the stage by actually walking there. The movement system is also a bit realistic in the fact that going up a steep hill would slow you down. It would have gotten a 10/10, but I don't like a certain part of the battle system called "action points". If you run out of Action Points then your monster can't do anything, and is wide open. A thing I liked alot was that this game actually has the god cards.

Graphics 10/10

Very good graphics on both the terrain and the battle system. Like all yu-gi-oh games, this one meets up to it's expectations on graphics. The graphics are highly detailed, such as when a walking type monster is moving on land, dust sometimes appears, and all the attacks are highly detailed also.

Sound 10/10

Not much to say here except it was awesome....just like any other yu-gi-oh game. There are many sounds and songs, and they made sounds for every single attack.

Story 10/10

The story was very good and it didn't follow the same story as the TV show, which I believe is good because hearing the same story in all the games of a series would make it dull.

Challenge 10/10

This game has smart AI and is very challenging. This is for gamers who purely like to think. It takes a good day and a half to complete one side if you don't rush and just play normally. The only thing that isn't long is Joey's side, which is rather short. But added on with replaying, and you'll get a good 2-3 weeks out of this game.

Replayability 10/10

This game is perfect for replayability, and then add to the fact that there are three different sides. Each of the three sides can be played up to three times before getting boring, so that's nine times of playing through it. Then after you do that there is an even funner mode known as challenge mode that will have you playing for a while.

Controls 10/10

The controls are easy and serve no problem at all getting used to. The things are assigned to what buttons are suitable, and you will have no struggle with pressing the buttons, and there isn't anything like pulling off ultra hard combos like Fatality moves in Mortal Kombat games.

Overall 10/10

With only one bad thing to this game, and that bad thing is minimal, I give this a 10/10. This game is a big step in gaming though, so I really suggest you play this game.

Buy/Rent: I suggest you buy it, it is a very fun game and you would end up renting it 3-4 times before getting bored of it, costing more then buying it.

I hope this review helped somehow. Hope you have fun!
