Introduction

Before Leon there was Claire. Resident Evil Code Veronica X takes us to Europe as Claire Redfield who is still searching for her missing brother Chris. During her journey she meets new friends and encounters old enemies. On this rollercoaster trip will Claire finally meet up with her brother? Play the game to find out….

Game Play 9/10

This game is a gem. It's different from the other Resident Evils yet the same. The controls are classic Resident Evil style, love it or just deal. The game has enough stuff going on to keep you not only entertained but also is challenging enough to keep you on your toes. The only draw back is that there is a lot of back tracking which gets monogamous after a while.

Story 10/10

This game contains A LOT of information that pertains to the series. In my opinion you'll need to play the game at least twice to fully grasp what is going down. There are enough surprises and plot twists that will keep you guessing.

Graphics/Sound 7/10

I'm rating the graphics a little higher then I would normally but I truly think that they are better then some of the newer games that I have played. The sound is good but not great. I wish that they would have included background music to enhance the playing environment.

Play time/ Re-playability 10/10

To unlock everything, to play everything, and to cover the entire story, your going to need to invest a lot of time. Plus this game is just good old fashion fun. You most definitely are going to get your money's worth with this game.

Final Thoughts:

This game is another one to buy if you can find it. There's so much to do and explore that renting the game would just be asinine. If you are just starting out in the Resident Evil series try renting Remake or the original Resident Evil before investing money into this game, it takes a special sort of person to really enjoy these games. A lot of people don't like them because of the controls and I always like to warn people of that. If you're a fan this is a perfect addition to your Resident Evil Collection.
