"Overall, way better then NFL Blitz"

I rented NFL Street after it came out, and at first I didn't like it much because I had been such a fan of the blitz series and this was the first EA game that was supposed to be like the Blitz series. But now I have to say its better then Blitz.

Gameplay:10/10
The gameplay is incredible. You can play normal exhibition matches, style point matches(where you only win when you get a certain amount of style points). My favorite is Challenge mode. All games require you to win by 36 points or more. Touchdowns are worth 6, if you run the ball in on the PAT its 1 point, pass it on the PAT it is worth 2 Its where you take a team of literally no names(you can change the names) and you challenge all the teams in the NFL by going through each division and simply beating them. You have development points you use on your players attributes to make them better, use them wisely though, like if your using them on you Quarterback, don't use them all on catching, use them on passing. During challenge mode, you can do other sorts of challenges and get development points, different kind of pants, shirts, shoes and players by doing the task is asks you to do. Some of them are really hard, but all you need to do is practice.

Sound: 7/10
The soundtracks are pretty much OK I guess, I don't really like the music my self so I usually just listen to my own CD's or the Radio. Its mostly punk music I think though, if you were wondering. The voices during the game are ok, but it gets repeatitive. Everyone on the game talks trash from Peyton Manning to Drew Bledsoe, everyone will talk. Overall the sound is ok.

Graphics:10/10
The graphics are nice, but most of EA sports games have nice graphics so it shouldn't be a surprise, to anyone. The fields have been nicely done, the players look real, especially their faces. If a player is wearing shoulder pads they will go up and move around if you run or tackle someone. All of the accessories look real, hats, head bands, wrist bands and even the hair does too. There will be footprints left on the field from running on it so much, nice touch to the game. Overall, the graphics are really good.

Replayability:8/10
When you are finished with the NFL Challenge, you will get a nice reward for playing through the 'season'. You get a lot of multi-player possibilities. You can redo challenge mode if you would like to, maybe make more teams to play as in exhibition of you play on a High School football team, you could make you and your top players. The game might start getting boring after a while, just depends on how much your into football I guess.

Controls:9/10
The controls are easy to learn, even if you are new to the game you will still get use to them eventually, to me they are a lot like the Madden games, but thats just me. You'll most likely make a couple of bad plays but everyone will, its just the game. You can do style points by holding L while your running, but make you aren't about to get tackled because you'll have a better chance of getting a fumble.

Buy or Rent: Definitely buy it! This game is not that expensive anymore, maybe under $15. If you don't like playing so called 'slow' football games like Madden or Sega football games and your sick of the Blitz games, the get NFL Street or NFL Street 2. Both games are great arcade style games. I
