"Come at me!"

Def Jam: Fight for NY is one of my favorite fighting games ever. I love the environmental attacks, hitting peoples with bottles, and performing reality-bending special moves on them.

The graphics in this game are very good. Everything looks good in this game. The fighters, venues, crowd, and the moves all look amazing. The animation is smooth, and there is no slow down. Basically, it's good.

The music is also awesome and especially if you like rap. The soundtrack has songs that all fit in with the edgy, urban mood. The announcers, rappers, and sound effects all sound great.

The gameplay is very easy to understand. The controls all fit in and you instantly feel at home with the controls. It is also the best part of the game. There are five fighting styles that you can choose from with each one of their strengths and weaknesses. Each style has their own special moves and unique way to KO opponents. There are also environmental attacks where you use the environment to damage your opponent. Weapon attacks can be devastating as you use weapons such as hammers, shovels, bottles, and brooms just to name a few of the many weapons that you can use. Also, the best part are the blazin moves. Each player has a blazin move that is unbelievable, and very hurtful to their foe. It will do the most damage, and is great for finishing off your opponent.

The story is also the best story I've ever seen in a fighting game yet. You create a character who goes to work for a man called D-Mob. It all goes well, until a rival gang leader called Crow (who is played by Snoop Dogg) starts interfering with your business. Later, things get out of control between the two gangs, and you have to win fights for your gang. I'll just leave it at that.

This game will have you playing for the months and possibly years to come. It is another great fighting game you can beat the crap out of your friends in. Go out and buy this game. You will especially love this game if you like hip-hop/rap. It has rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Lil' Flip, Method Man, Redman, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Slick Rick, Flava Flav and so much more.
