" A Good game that is a great change from the GBA ones"

Now I'm not saying the Game Boy Advance ones are bad or anything, I am simply saying that this game is a nice change. You are Ike, on a quest that is the same for all Fire Emblems- To free the world. Simple enough eh? Well just hold on tight. And as to how I can review so early? Well I got a Japanese version <_<.

Game Play-9/10

A strong point of Fire Emblem games. The battle system is well refined, your weapons can break, you level up, promote using items, then continue leveling up. In this Fire emblem game skills were added from Fire Emblem 4, these skills add replayablility to the game in choosing which skills to give a character in addition to which characters to use in this play round. The simple method is this- beat all enemies, survive, take throne. That is generally all there is to it, so it may get boring after a while. Note : If your unit dies, you can not get them back! 28 chapters too, so you won't be bored fast.

Music- 10/10

All Fire Emblem music is addictive, that's it, end of story. Well I can't end it there since I have a bit to say, most of the tunes are good, but some might just seem the same as another tune...in fact sometimes it's just a remix.

Graphics-8/10

Good, but not that good is what I will say. It looks somewhat choppy and sometimes blurry too, now I'm not saying it's lego blocks ( Reminds me of a certain PS game), but it is NO RE4. But the models are well thought out and nice to look at actually. This gets an additional point since you get a Picture room later in the game as well.

Story- 9/10

Well thought out and perfect. As all FE games should be, there is no place where the story appears inbalanced, now I played it using a translation text ( couldn't wait), but even the the story was great. No more can be said ^_^. Off topic, some of the text file was cut off so I skipped Ch 10 I think >_>.

Replayability-8/10

So many modes, so little time. You can also chose what skills to use and who to promote. So there is quite a lot of possibilites for this, don't doubt that, it's just that it is somewhat repetitive...

Buy or Rent?

$50 bucks....you decide...just kidding. I suggest waiting or trying to find a better price..or of course renting. I borrowed mine ( for a pretty long amount of time too). I'll just say wait a while or rent if you can't wait. 50 dollars is steep.
