Mario Party 7

"Time to Mario Party"

Mario Party is the seventh game of the Mario Party series, and is the best one so far. You may think that the gameplay is getting stale, (like Dynasty Warriors) but they seem to add things that just make it more fun. You can play with 7 of your friends now,(2 people play on one controller). There are tons of Souvenirs to buy, two hidden characters, and eight-six all new mini-games. Mario Party 7 has lots of new features.

Gameplay: 9/10
It's the same board game, but the gameplay is mixed with the other Mario Parties, like in Mario Party 4, where you shrink or grow. And the mic from Mario Party 6 makes a reappearance. It's still addictingly fun, if that is even a word. Playing with 8 of your friends is a ton of fun, but it can get crowded, if there are other people watching. You can play with eight friends by two people on each controller. One person has the Analog stick and the other person holds on the C-stick.

Sound: 8/10
The background music is nice to hear, and Mario sound funny as always. They should add voice overs though, but there hasn't been any voice-overs for Nintendo games except Starfox and Conker. Anyways, the background music and sound effects are satisfying enough to earn an eight-out-of-ten.

Graphics 8/10
The graphics hasn't changed much, but they are still good. In my opinion, all the Mario Party games look sort of the same, but that's not bad. They look alright. It's not all about the graphics right? It's also about the gameplay.

Replay 10/10
You will have fun trying to unlock all the minigames and souvenirs. There is a lot of mini-games, and there's always one that you miss, so that adds replay to play the game. The multi-player adds even more fun to the game! That's why they call it Mario PARTY.

Buy or Rent?
If you have the previous Mario Parties, at least give this a rent. If you only 1 Mario Party, I suggest you get this game. 8-Player is just so fun.
