Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution

"A Good Game For A Good Price"
As a fan of Phantasy Star 1+2, I was naturally curious about this game. I had other games higher up on my priority list so this game was put on hold for a while. Well recently I noticed the game was only 18-20 dollars new in a number of places so I picked it up. I was not disappointed.
Gameplay: 9/10
The gameplay is different than most other card games. The cards are to primarily summon monsters or weapons which then are controlled individually around a grid, as opposed to just having them "there" like in games like magic. The grid adds another layer of strategy, adding more options than normal card type games. Dice play a large role in how you approach things each round, and can sometimes lead to frustration or an easy win but overall adds some chance to each match but doesn't dictate how things are going to go over the course of an entire match.
After winning (or losing) a match you receive an evaluation based on your stats during the match, ranging from failing (E) up to great performance (S) and you receive cards accordingly. The grading system is made for longer complicated matches, and works well, except with a couple flaws I've found. I won a match earlier today doing 25 damage and taking 0, and won in 6 turns and only received a B+. A very quick shutout match should receive a higher grade. Also, damage taken is considered, even if it is dealt to shields, so if you are aiming for an A+ or S then you have to throw out defense cards even if they won't prevent something from being destroyed.
There is a tutorial offered, and it is sufficient in learning the basics, but you will still make mistakes the first few games as the system isn't forgiving. A lot of the time if you make a selection you can't undo it, so you have to plan out your attacks and such before you actually select them.
Music: 8/10
The music is nothing too special as it is mostly ambient; but, it is nice for what it is. I usually listen to music on my computer as I play, but it wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have that alternative.
Graphics: 9/10
They look like a slightly nicer PSO1+2, or somewhat significantly better if you played the DC versions. It's all the same style, pleasing former fans of the other games.
Story: 9/10
Admittedly, I am not that far into the game story-wise as I have played a lot of free battle as well, but what I've seen so far is good, and superior to the PSO1+2 story. Most RPG's make me roll my eyes at times and I haven't done so yet.
Re-playability: 10/10
The bread and butter of the PSO franchise. This game is super replayable as there is much to do and explore and collect. I suspect playing online would catapult this past even a 10 if that was possible.
As I said before, I got the game for about 20 dollars and I think it is about a 9/10 for it. I would say add a point for every 10 dollars you can find it cheaper (it's a 10/10 for a 10 dollar game) and minus one for every 10 more (it's a 6/10 for 50 dollars) . If you don't like card games and PSO AT ALL then I'd say rent or avoid, but I'm not much of a card fan and I found this very fun. Otherwise, if you can find it cheap; buy it.
