Army Men: Sarge's War

Review by DannysGetNDown

"Another Army Men game to play."

Your little toy Army Men are back in another game, and you're controlling Sarge as he fights his way through the enemy defenses to complete his objectives whether it is to destroy radar tracking systems or enemy helicopters and all that neat stuff, but it's also fun to blow up enemies and watch their plastic body parts go flying around. you have a bunch of missions to go to and multiple objectives in each mission sometimes you even fight bosses which are just really tough enemies out to kill you. You don't just run and shoot in this game you got to use stealth a little bit to avoid being seen or shot at. and you better be hiding in some places because if an enemy's tank shoot you you're pretty much melted plastic and have to try again. You get to roam different areas in this game such as; the backyard, the bathroom, the kitchen, the grass outside and the living-room. be careful because enemies hide around every corner waiting for you. The missions aren't too tough some may take a couple tries, but it's pretty simple I'd say the overall difficulty is medium.

Graphics: 7/10
Nothing extremely spectacular looking in this game just your standard explosions blowing up plastic toys type graphics. You'll see tanks and drone guns and different enemies everywhere even helicopter all trying to kill you! sounds really tough? it's not as hard as it sounds but sometimes it will be.

Music/Sound: 5/10
The music in this game is unimportant because you're listening to enemies and gunfire most of the time. The sound is good you hear gunfire and explosions mostly. The occasional enemy screaming for his life.

Gameplay: 8/10
The game-play for this game is good you will learn the controls after about a mission or 2. This game is in third-person for the most part but there is a button to hold and you can be in first-person while you shoot down enemies.
You can get different weapons to change to, you can duck, jump, target enemies and dive and roll out of the way of gunfire.

Replay Value: Low-Medium
This games one player was okay but not that great though the multi-player you will probably play more because you can play with up to 3 friends on a couple different game-types with a bunch of different weapons.

Extras: 0/10
Sadly this game does not have any extras you just have whats already there. nothing to unlock or anything. Thats what I look forward to in a game, unlocking extras that I believe I've earned. But no, nothing here companies don't like putting extras and unlockables in their games I guess. Except there are some codes that you can put in for cheats.

Overall: 7/10
The game is fairly decent, and kind of a rarity I guess because there is not many flying games around like this.

Pros:
4 Player Multi-player

Cons:
No unlockables
