"A great game for all ages and even non-Disney fanatics will get a joy over this Tony Hawk spin-off."

Pros: Impressive level design, spin-off to Tony Hawk, good replay value, satisfactory sound and music, impressive graphics, fun

Cons: Not many unlockables, can annoy older audiences, missions and goals lack originality, multiplayer is simplistic, may seem quite easy for an older audience, not many levels

Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure combines the elements you know and love from the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series into an enjoyable spin-off Disney skateboarding game suited for younger audiences.

D.E.S.A excels in quite a number of areas. For instance, the level designs are unique and quite impressive; most of the levels allude to various Disney shows and even episodes for those same shows, respectively.

The sound has a tendency to annoy older audiences, however, being addressed for younger audiences, it is quite obvious. Younger audiences will enjoy the game's soundtrack of songs varying from theme songs to just normal tracks played during Disney movies.

The 2-Player support is a nice touch. Just like Tony Hawk, the multiplayer modes in D.E.S.A include getting the most points for performing tricks in the alloted time, and overall, it can be quite fun. Yet, again, it can seem sort of boring for older audiences. Nevertheless, the multiplayer adds to the replay value that the game acquires.

As far as rewards, characters, and unlockables go, you can choose characters from Disney shows and movies and even create your own character. However, there is not a wide selection of Disney characters to choose from. If this were adjusted, the game could be much more enjoyable - especially for those who have a favorite Disney character.

Overall, with the impressive levels, the decent sound, replay value, the (satisfactory) fun factor and even the selection of characters make the game quite enjoyable for younger audiences and maybe even for older audiences. If you ever get the chance to buy this game (especially now that it is at a very low price since it's quite old), I'd recommend you do - if you are young. However, for older audiences, you may only consider this game worth only a rental. All in all, a fun-filled game.
