"One of the best Mario Partys yet."

I've been playing Mario Party game ever since the very first one was released. At the time I got a GameCube Mario Party 4 and 5 were already out. I rented them then not long after Mario Party 6 came out I just got as Christmas present then then same thing happened with Mario Party 7 a little after a month of it's released and I have to say this is one of the better Mario Partys.

Graphics:8/10- The graphics here remain unchanged since Mario Party 4 but that doesn't mean it has bad graphics. If the graphics were improved at least a little bit I would give this section a 9. And I hate it when people call the graphics "kiddish". It's Mario! What do you expect? These certainly look better than the blocky Nintendo 64 Mario Party games.

Gameplay:8/10- If you've play any Mario Party games then you what basic gameplay to expect. You roll a dice then walk some spaces then you can play some mini-games. I hate it when complaining about this! What more do you want from a party series? "Oh it's just more of the same" PLEASE! Most of the mini-games are fun and I really like the Mic mini-games. What ever happened to a seperate Mic mode that Mario Party 6 had though?

Value:10/10- This game has a long life span especially when you have people around to play multiplayer with. Their's also a new 8 player mode but I'm still not used to that so I rarely play it. Just like in Mario Party 6 this game has fun sub-modes in mini-game mode and some need to be unlocked by purchasing them. You can also purchase souvenirs that are kind of pointless but why not try to get them all just for completion?

Overall: If you've like any other Mario Partys then you would most likely like this one unless you're one of those "more of the same" critics or just simply hate the mini-games in this one. So I recommend a rent first especially if you're new to the Mario Party series.
