"If you like violence, destruction, or large green men running around in torn-up jeans, BUY THIS GAME!"

I first heard about this game when searching the Web for cool games. Hearing about an FR game made by Marvel piqued my interest, as I greatly enjoyed
Spider-Man 2. I booted it up, and immediately was blown away....

INTRO

This game immediately throws you into the action. You see a bug. Horribly, the next thing you see is the Hulk landing on top of the bug. The Hulk continues on to who-knows-where. While all of this is happening, you hear Bruce Banner talking to you. He is telling you who he is, and apparently, he thinks he is a walking time bomb. It is actually a very good cut-scene.

I think I got off topic.

GAMEPLAY

This is the most important part of any game. As the title implies, the main focus of this game is to create mass mayhem and destroy anything and everything you want to. Cars, trucks, police, citizens, a few buildings, all can be either broken, destroyed, maimed (except the buildings), crushed, or knocked over. Any FR game that allows you to do that has to be at least worth a rent. Maybe even a buy.

GRAPHICS

These graphics are truly amazing. Although all cars look alike when smashed and broken, but it still looks so good it's nuts. The Hulk looks Hulkish, the police look wimpy but brave, and the citizens look...well...uh...terrified.

SOUND

Not only are the cut-scenes good, which they are (with Hellboy doing voice acting, why wouldn't it be good?!?), the in-game sound os also of high quality. You are almost constantly hearing the puny citizens screaming and the S.W.A.T. Team talking of your actions. The one thing that would have made this game's sound better was if the citizens would shout something out other than "OH MY G@D! HELP! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!"

By the way, there is no music that I can hear.

DIFFICULTY

Like any (good) game, the difficulty goes up as the game progresses. Any game that doesn't have that is a worthless pile of lame, miserable junk that deserves to be broken and turned into a disco ball. This game gets considerably harder, as you fight tougher bosses, larger enemies, and more tanks.

BUY OR RENT

I would have to say buy. This is such a good game, you will literally be left thinking "Why didn't I buy this game earlier?!?!?" There is no try. There is only buy or not buy.
