Freedom Fighters

"Follow Me Men! Walk In There! No, That's Not A Grenade In My Hand...BOOM! Hehe.."
This is a pretty good game that I think most people over look. It's definately great multiplayer, but the story mode is a giant, boring, dull piece of junk. My little brother bought this game at GameStop for like five bucks, so if you have that kind of money, go out and buy it. Invite friends over, remember, it's good to play together! Wait, that's the Xbox thing...er...whatever Nintendo says!
Single player isn't that fun at all. If the game didn't have multiplayer, this game would probably receive a 3-5 score. Multiplayer is really fun, especially since up to four players can play. This makes the game a lot more enjoyable and you'll have fun taking over bases and recruiting men to attack your friends.
Like I said, the single player mode isn't good at all. It's pretty easy at first then gets over-the-top difficult, but soon falls back to easy and stays that way for pretty much the rest of the game.
The controls are simple you pretty much shoot people, pick up medical kits to heal yourself, get armor, pick up guns, and take over bases. You can also recruit men at your bases to come with you to take over other bases.
There isn't really much of a story to the game. You could try to follow it, but it's really hard to follow, since it's pretty stupid. The most I could make out of it was there was Russians and you were killing them. I think it's set in either the Cold War or World War II. Or it's a totally fictional time period, which I'm starting to think. Since you are in America and it's getting invaded...okay I'm confused now. Like I said, the story is annoying and boring.
The graphics are pretty bad. The characters look terrible, but like I've said many times, graphics don't effect the entertainment a game brings. The sound is nothing really special and the saying your guy says after you recruit people, gets really old really fast.
I've been bashing the game a lot. The bad parts of the game are pretty much only in story mode. If you want to have fun with this game, play multiplayer. This makes for a much more enjoyable experience that you'll enjoy.
I would buy it, since my little brother found it so cheap. It makes a good time-killer when you're bored. A great multiplayer game that is just plagued with a bad storyline.
