"A Wondeful game that could have been perfect, spoiled by gimmick courts, God I hate those damn courts"

6 years ago Mario Tennis was made, a wonderful game with alot of replaybility and after that alot of people including me thought that in a year or so a sequel would be made but alas that was not to be but 6 years later people's prayers were finally answered Mario Power Tennis was made featuring new characters such as Diddy Kong, Bowser J.R Koopa Troopa but on the other hand they took some characters from the previous game characters such as Baby Mario and D.K J.R but you can unlock several unlockable characters which i'll not spoil for you.

Graphics: {10} The graphics on this game is immaculate from the detail of your characters face to the fire on Bowser's Fire Breath plus each Power Move a character does is very detailed and looks very realistic, also the game clearly shows the characters expressions e.g when you hit the tennis ball in your opponents face you can see a look of surprise this is one reason why I gave Graphics a 10.

Sound: {10} The sound in this game is wonderful, Bowser Fire Breath makes a wonderful whooosh sound with the added aggressiveness Waluigi's weird accent is put in wonderfully and Mario and Luigi's Italian accent is also put in immpresively. During play also you can also heat that thunk sound when you hit the ball and you can hear that whoosh sound when you hit a smash shot plus you can hear every sound the characters say to full extent such as Boo's laugh, Bowser's Growl or Mario's Mama Mia.

Gameplay {9} The gameplay is wonderful the first ten minutes I played this I was ecstatic being able to go straight into tournaments or play minigames that start out easy but when you beat them get harder, the tournaments are perfect as they start out easy because some people who play this game may be new to tennis games and therefore have no experience in for this games but when you beat the easy tournaments the computer A.I get more intelligent and therefore the computer get's harder until eventually you shout many many swearwords but there is one bad part about the game it is the...................... Gimmick Courts yes that's right the newest addition to this game the Gimmick Courts are just plain annoying but this wouldn't be a problem if you these were limited to just multiplayer games or exhibition match but no to unlock everything you have to play in a tournament where you play on nothing but Gimmick Courts this is probably the only flaw in this game.

Multiplaybility {10} This game is not only made for single player but for multiplayer as well although it's better played with three other friends that way you can shout at your doubles partner or gloat about your superior tennis skills but it can be just as fun playing singles with just one friend or playing with a friend in Doubles and having a computer partner each.

Replaybility {10} This game lasts a hell of a lot of time why just beating all the normal cups with all characters will take maybe a week for newbies or three days for more experienced characters then you have to finish the mini games which takes forever for some mini games and once you've done that you have to do the the Gimmick Tournament and trust me you'll say swear words in these cups if you know them because I know I said alot of them once you've done that try completing them with every character and even after that there are ove 100 combinations for the Doubles tournaments and winning the star cup with every combination for Doubles will take forever.

Overall: {49.50} This game is just wonderful great for fans of the Mario Series or people that are not fans of the series with only 1 tiny flaw this game is well worth whatever you pay for it although thanks to the bright colours and funny sounds this would appeal to younger kids from the age approx 8-12 although this game still appeals to to younger kids and teenagers or adults alike.

Buy or Rent: Definitely buy this game takes months to fully complete it, so buy the time you add on all or your rent fees you could have brought the game but even if you don't want to complete everything it's still a wonderful game that will last for years and will give wonderful graphics, sound and gameplay.
