+ INTRODUCTION +
++++++++++++++++

It's basketball...it's basketbrawl...it's challenging and exciting!
It's thunderous realism, with screaming fans. Hone your hoop skills
for fast paced action; lightning quick steals, swarming pressure
defenses. Unleash your offensive strategy, pass, shoot, or floor an
opponent with a right hook. This game has no fouls! The referee is so
near sighted that, as he races up and down the court, his best move is
"in your way." Watch out that you don't trip over him.

You can use your basic basketball skills and show off your all-around
ball control, but if that doesn't give you a high score, pull down your
opponent's shorts. If you don't do it first, he may catch you unaware.

Fanatic fans sometimes express themselves by throwing garbage onto the
court. Watch your step. While you're reworking your strategy, keep
you eye on the other team's mascot who has a tendency to interfere with
play. There's more to "Arch Rivals" than slam dunks, backboard breaks,
and rebounding. Take time to enjoy the bouncy, energetic cheerleaders
and ignore the emotional coaches. It's game time!

+ PLAYERS +

BLADE
He is a real crowd pleaser. The fans love him and the cheerleaders
can't resist his blond good looks. With his glasses, he's a twenty-
twenty sure shot.

HAMMER
He is the rebound king. Expect to take a pounding if you challenge him
under the boards. You'll learn to respect his long distance shooting.

LEWIS
He is a top shooter. Don't be fooled because of his awesome glasses,
because he's a tough contender. He's Mr. Technique, Mr. Smooth, and
Mr. Moves.

MOHAWK
He is tough and mean and proud of his radical haircut. Don't mess with
his hair and don't mess with him on his way to the hoop. Foul play is
his specialty.

MOOSE
He is the most experienced B-ball brawler. Moose is also a real champ.
He was high scorer for his team three seasons in a row.

REGGIE
He is the All American blonde, and was the All-Star's All Star ten
years ago. With his experience, he has the magic touch to sink shots
from just about anywhere.

TYRONE
He is big and bald. He's a defensive giant who really blocks the lane.
He has a basketbrawl reputation for fast fists.

VINNIE
He is a great player. With his red headband, there's no sweat. His
super ball handling sets him apart from the rest, the best. Without
the ball, he's fast footed and even faster fisted.

+ GAME STRATEGIES +
+++++++++++++++++++

When playing the game, I find that choosing the player that you control
be Lewis. In my playing time of the game I found him to be the best
for my taste of abilities. The computer-controlled teammate is just a
matter of preference. I like having Hammer as my teammate because he
is tall and can rebound when you miss. I usually stay away from being
Blade, Mohawk, and Reggie. There is nothing wrong with them players; I
just have more success controlling Lewis.

This game is team sport, so use your teammate wisely. Pass to him and
then pass back to be open for a shot.
Play good defense and stay in the computers' faces and they will miss
quite often.

Always stay clear of the upper portion of the court, as the dog can
cause a turnover. Try not to trip over the litter that the fans throw.
The referee can also cause a mix up near mid court.

You can fake a pass that works every now and then by holding the B
Button and press A.

Usually if you dominate on the rebounds you will come away a winner.

At the end of the game, you can check your stats against your previous
average with the same guy.
