How do you find the a Mega Powerup(a large ball that gives you level 4 weapons)? I got it once, but I don't know what made it appear.
To make the level 4 weapon power up appear you must use the tractor beam to grab the shield grenade that some enemies leave behind when killed, hold onto it, and kill another enemy of the type which would have dropped a shield grenade. Instead of dropping their usual shield grenade, the enemy will drop a purple item that will upgrade the ship's weapons to level 4.
