"The Genesis did always have some of the best shooters..."

Hold on to your seat...

Gameplay(8): This is awesome. This oldie is a great for gameplay. Yeah, you fly through space, shootin' enemies, but the best thing is that you have a TOZ equipped on your ship. The TOZ flies by your side, but what does it do? It steals your foe's weapon! You shoot the TOZ at your enemy and it will grab on to it and steal it's weapon for your use. Pretty sweet.

Story(7): The earth is a radioactive waste ruin. The terrorist group Gulfer is threatining to destroy Earth with a weapon that they have devised. You, Dan Dare, have a good spirit and want to save the Earth and turn it beautiful again. You and Alexis, who is piloting the TOZ weapon system, head out to stop Gulfer.

Audio(5)/Video(8): The music is quite annoying at sometimes, and it's just there for the sake of having music in the game. The graphics though, were pretty nice in their day. You should see the hyperspace scene. So who said the Genesis had bad graphics? Huh?

Replayability(yep): You will have to play it over and over again. It is a VERY HARD GAME.

To buy or to rent: This title is worth having around, I tell ya. Buy it at a 2nd hand store while you still can.
