Review by GSephiroth

"One of the first games for the Genesis that's actually good."

It was a fine summer day when this game turned out in my closet. Ahhh, the memories. Oh, well. I decided to write a review for this now unknown addictive football game. To my suprise, no one knew about this game. The Genesis was a pretty good system before the thirty two and sixty four bits of the future.

1.Playability: 6/10
This game only suffers in this department because it's an old game. It only has a season mode and a two player mode. Oh,well. There's still fun in this game with a lot of teams.

2.Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are pretty good from the quarterback to the jumbotron animations after a play. It's not 3D, but who cares? It's pretty good with fluid animations by the designers.

3.Sounds: 7/10
The commentary is pretty simple here. It's pretty good during halftime when they talk about the scores. The commentary during plays are top notch but sometimes the commentator says the same thing twice in a row, though.

4.Replay Value: 5/10
There's nothing to do here except to play the season and the Super Bowl. There's two player action in this game. Each team have very similar stats so you won't have a problem playing as the Saints or the Eagles.

Is it worth it?
I believe that maybe it's worth it when you are a die hard football fan and there's more than two of you in the town that likes football games. It's pretty good for a Sega classic. I'd get it because it's only worth a very small five dollars in most stores now.
