Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters
Lethal Enforcers II is the long-awaited 1994 sequel to Lethal Enforcers. This time, you get a western setting, not to mention a really well-done game.
Crime is running wild in the West and it's up to you and your gun to put a stop to it all. One or two players can play, simultaneously might I add, and move their way up from being the posse to the sherif.
What do you use for weapons? Duh, it's a shooting game, you use guns. All types of guns are available, from double-barrel shotguns, to Gatling guns, and even cannons!
The graphics of Lethal Enforcers II are well done, like the first one. Much of the blood and gore from the arcade game are taken out, but the digitized sprites and 3-D like backgrounds are a site for sore eyes.
Lethal Enforcers II sports great sounds, as well. Digitized voices and enemy sound effects are almost inspiring, and each gun has a different sound that it makes when you shoot it.
Although you can use the controller for this game, you really have to try the gun to get the most out of it. However, the gun doesn't come with the game.
Lethal Enforcers II was one of the best shooting games of the mid 1990's and it's definitely worth a look today, if you can still find the gun.
