Virtual Bart is a game made up of 6 sub-games. Each game has its own objective. Here is my review on Virtual Bart...

Graphics: 10/10

No complaint about the graphics from me. All the Simpson characters in this game look like they do on TV. The producers even made some of the characters look caveman-like in one level. I give the graphics a 10.

Sound: 10/10

Another good part of the game. I have no complaint about the sound or character voices. As a matter of fact...the music is actually pretty catchy. The character's are voiced well also. Homer says his usual "Doh!" and Barney has a hilarious burping sound. The sound in this game gets a 10.

Controls: 8/10

You mainly use the A button, B button, and the control pad in this game. Each of the level's have their own controls. Some of the controls are good, while some of them are awful. For example, it's to hard to control Bart on the motorcycle in the Post-Apocalypse. Other than that, nothing is really wrong with the controls. I give the controls an 8.

Gameplay: 8/10

When you start the game, you have two options. "Start Game" is where the real game begins. Bart is on a virtual machine wheel which acts like a roulette. The roulette will stop on 6 levels or an popsicle/crossbones. If it stops on a level, then that is the level you must play. The objective is to beat all 6 levels. If you lose a level, then part loses a live. When you finish a live, its a gameover for you.

What's the problem with this game you ask? First off, some of the levels in this game are impossible to beat! Levels like the Water Slide are one of those levels where luck plays a factor and Post-Apocalypse has you on a motorcycle...which is impossible to steer! Then again, there are some fun levels like Dinosaur and the pig level. My personal favorite would be the Vandal level where you must hit children of Springfield Elementary with a tomato.

The other option you can choose is "Practice Area" where you can practice each level. Although beating the level won't give you anything. I give the gameplay a 6.

Yes! This is a great game if your looking for a good Genesis game.
