"Phantasy StarII is a well written and challenging game."
Released in 1989 Phantasy StarII was one of the first games to apper on the Genesis console. It was an instant classic and its exellent story is relatable even know. 1989 rpgs were all of the same lot save the princess or something like that. The Phantasy Star series was the first to change this.
1000 years ago King Lassic was deafeated by a courages heronie named Alis Landale,along with her companions she set Algo free from the grip of there tyrant king. Now evil stalks the world once more! You name is Rolf you live on Motavia you are a goverment agent. The Commander has a mission for you, you are to go to the Biosystems Lab get the Recorder to see what took place there,month ago. This simple mission will explode in to an epic struggle for all life in Algo. You will uncover a demented plot to destroy Algo. With the Super computer Mother Brain blowing her circuts, Darkforces rising,planets exploding and,anwelcome guests ploting who will save the world?
Sound/Music While the music is fantastic the sound leaves something to be desired.
Gameplay: Nothing out of the ordanary for an rpg.
