"Leave it to Capcom to make a Great Game"

Oh, the joy of Chiki Chiki Boys. I remember this on my Sega Genesis that I left in New Orleans, Louisiana. When I went back after the hurricane, I only got my Super Nintendo and NES.. Now that I have my trusty new Sega Genesis, I can play Chiki Chiki boys again. Chiki Chiki boys is a game developed by Capcom and published by Sega.

Leave it to Sega Genesis to host side-scrolling games that actually have a great plot to them. In the land of Alurea, which was once peaceful and wonderful, something has gone wrong. They have been attacked by evil creatures. King Chiki has a plan to stop that once and for all. His twin sons who are called the Chiki Boys, are going to teach those evil creatures a lesson. You don't see this plot in Nintendo Entertainment System. Well, maybe you do. ;Cough; Zelda ;Cough; Final Fantasy ;Cough;

The gameplay is quite simple. You go around slashing enemies and watch out for pointy mountains and pointy spikes that you see in Sonic. Simple. Then of course you have the bosses. You have different ways to fight each boss. There's also one thing I love which is there is this one button that causes a thunder to destroy everything on your screen. That's very useful when you want to take away most of your boss's HP so you an easily win. You have a limited ammount of this thunder button, though. If you didn't don't you think that would be pretty stupid, huh?

The sound is just oh my goodness awesome. I love the music. The quality for it is.. meh common for a Sega Genesis/Master System.

Graphics are wonderful. The characters look great.. atmospheric.. colorful.. No flaw for it unless you compare it to games of this era of video gaming.

The controls are great. Except one or two buttons are absolutely useless because they cause no action or movement to the character. But if you ignore that minor flaw, the controls are great. Not slippy like Donkey Kong Country for the SNES. Just perfect.

Buy or Rent. Well, ignore that Rent thing and yes, buy! This is a great game that should only be played on the Sega Master System if you really are a true fan of Capcom. Chiki Chiki boys is a game you can truly enjoy if you are a Capcom fan!
