"Aazark's story"
Last Battle is one of those games where you ask your self how do people beat it with out cheating? Yes I'm talking about those old school games that are a lot harder to beat then the new games that they have now. One simple reason is because if you die there are no continues and this game is long. The story line (really generic) is about man named Aarzak who is fighting to free his people from tyranny.
Game Play 7/10: The game play at first might seem like bs since it very easy to die in the game if you don't know what to do at first but after you get the hang of it, it slightly becomes easier. Basically you pick the town or area you want to fight (on the world map) and then your character icons moves there. Now the game is consisted of 4 chapters and each chapter has about 6-7 stages to go to however you do not have to do every single one of them. To clear each chapter you just have to beat the chapter boss. You could also redo stages however I think that is a waste of time since once you get the power up or extension life bar there is no point to go back to a stage unless if you have to back track. As mentioned above once you die it is game over and you can not continue. The bosses also don't make life easy since they could do combos on you and you always have to kill a chapter boss with a special attack or else they will stay alive until you are dead.
Length ?/10: I have never seen this game beaten normally. People always have to use a Game Genie of some sort however it still takes a good 2-3 hours since the chapters are not easy (even with cheats on) since there also other certain requirements you have to do to beat the game. Of course if you don't play with the game genie I would say that after about 30 minutes into the game, you will find it to be bs and then quit.
Graphics/ Music 6/10: The music is very bad since they love to re-use tunes over and over again. The graphics are not bad however for a game that was in 1989.
This game is not worth finding unless if you are a collector. Most kids (and maybe adults) would give up to quickly on the game since it is not easy and very confusing at first.
