"The compilation begins"

Compilations for video games have always been around. The very first one I can think of would have been Nintendo smashing together the Duck Hunt and Mario game. However since that was only two games it was not really a big deal. The 6 pak is probably the first game compilation in which many games were in one (legally) (I think) place. Now in Sega's case, they tried to please every one by having a little from every genre. For example they have Shinobi 2 (I know this is not the real name of the game but at the moment I can not remember the actual title), Streets of Rage, Sonic, Golden Axe for you action/ adventure gamer. They have Columns for your puzzle fanatic and Super Hang On for the sports fan. Now maybe you have heard of all these, maybe you have not. It does not matter since they are all in the box.

The controls for each of the game are mostly the same. For your action games, A is always the special move/ magic (unless if the game has none), B is always for attacking (unless if it is Super Hang On or Columns) and C is always for jumping and of course the D-pad and the start are used for starting and moving. There are instructions for a 6 buttoned controller in the booklet however since I never use one, I have no clue what it's buttons are.

The graphics to the games in the compilation are a bit better then on their original cartridge ( for example the dinosaur boss in Shinobi 2 is now white with more details then whatever it originally looked like. I can't think of a game that did not improve because of this compilation however some people might disagree on that.

The games in the compilation are generally not long to beat. Most of the games on it should take you no more then an hour (assuming you beaten the game or have a general knowledge of how to beat said game).

Since it is the year 2008, the best way to get a copy of this game (if you wanted to) is by Ebay however since the Wii's virtual console is out and the fact that Sega released this type of compilations many times (Sega Dreamcast and etc) I doubt you would want to really go and look for this.
