Streets of Rage

"You think that YOU are Final Fight?? HAHAHAHA"

You just KNOW Sega had to do something when the awesome FINAL FIGHT was being made for their big enemy Nintendo. So they thought, hey let's make a complete copy and try to make some money off the big Final Fight craze. This was the lame crap they put out, Streets of Rage. And I promise you, it is NOT Final Fight. Anyway the STUPID Nintendo Final Fight really sucked but jeez louise you can bet your lucky dollar it was better than THIS. They thought making this junk have a two-player game would beat Final Fight. EHHHH!!!! WRONG, Sega!! This is not anywhere close to Final Fight and it NEVER will be!!!!!

Story - 1

Bad people took over the town and three geeky cops are going to rescue it. Their names are Adam, Axl and Blaze and god are they LAME. Imagine what GUY, CODY and HAGGAR would do to these dorks!! Anyway, dumb story and no cool intro movie like Final Fight has.

Game Play - 4

It's pretty much alot like Final Fight, you know walk around kicking ass. Not as exciting though. You don't go on the subway or have STEEL CAGE matches or fight any Brother ANDORE. Just walk around on the street and beech and stuff fighting LAME bad guys. All the dumb bad guys are small and weak and don't do any good moves. And you have the dumb flying guy who juggles stuff, it's all real weak compared to the MAD GEARS in Final Fight. The bosses are just Final Fight copies, like the FAT MAN who was just a normal bad guy in Final Fight!

There are a lot of moves but who cares since it's so boring. And the DUMBEST part of all when the wimps get in trouble they call the cops and have them blow stuff up. Ohh, so cool. How come the guys in Final Fight didnt need cops and explosions, because they kicked ASS that's why.

Sound - 7

Good music, not really my taste but fast and kind of techno. I don't know, I thought Final Fight had exciting music and this was pretty boring and not loud enough but it was O.K. Sound sucked, no awesome hits and grunts and yells like Final Fight had. Turn down the TV and don't notice the difference.

Grahics - 2

VERY bad. All the characters are small even the bosses. At least they aren't as big as the GIANT MAD GEARS. Not even close. Really bad animation, not enough animation frames and everyone CHOPS around. Chop! Chop!!! It's like stop start all the time the way they move and it looks really dumb. Even the water chops and nothing looks real.

Conclusion - 3

Why buy this TURD when you can get the REAL DEAL. Even Final Fight on STUPID Nintendo is alot better, this is just cheap crap made by Sega to make some money. Don't fall for the tricks get the real good fighting game not the waana be like this.
