"This game wood score higher if it had more replay value...huh huh, I said "wood"."

Who doesn't love Beavis and Butthead? Oh yeah, those idiots that get offended by everything, from The Simpsons to South Park. I remember having my mom ban me from watching it, and I would secretly watch it anyway. Unfortunately, Beavis and Butthead are dead (LITERALLY!), but that doesn't keep me from playing this fun game.

Storyline: 10/10
I love this storyline. B&B are at home, channel surfing. Suddenly, they see an ad for a concert featuring one of their favorite bands, Gwar. They buy tickets, but the dog of the evil Mr. Anderson chews them up, and the pieces are blown over town by Mr. Anderson's lawnmower (GOD I HATE THAT GUY!). B&B, having nothing better to do, decide to go on a quest to retrieve the pieces.

And so, our story begins...

Graphics: 10/10
The graphics are very colorful and cartoony, which is surprising, due to the low color palette of the Genesis. Plus, they very accurately match the show, with the character's hairs and clothes being an almost perfect copy. A lot of the little things from the show, such as B&B's junky TV, also made the cut. Plus, there are no graphical glitches to be found.

Sound FX: 8/10
Several voice clips made it in, although there isn't much. They are mostly ''THIS SUCKS!'' and B&B's trademark ''Huh huh huh''. Unfortunately, hearing the voice clips over and over gets quite annoying. There are also grunts and groans are characters get hit.

Music: 7/10
Aside from the B&B theme, none of the music comes from the show. They are all pretty much happy little ten second audio sequences that play in an endless loop.

Game Play: 7.5
The game basically involves collecting items and using them in different areas to create an event. For example, you can give a snake to an Army general who has a fear of snakes, so that you can steal a ticket piece when he isn't looking. You can also feed a fast food customer a dead rat burger, causing him to vomit out a ticket piece. ^_^

You can play as B&B, and they both have individual life bars. When one is almost dead, you switch. Both have their individual weapons. They can burp, fart, use toy guns/bats, and spit balls.

My biggest gripe is the lack of battery back up saves. B&B uses a password system, but the passwords are incredibly long. Also, there are no mini-games; it's the story mode and nothing else. You can have two people play together (One being Beavis and the other Butthead) but otherwise, the replay value is quite low.

The control is easy. You move with the D-Pad, attack with A, switch characters with B, and pick up/use items with C. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Pros
Awesome storyline
Great graphics
Easy control

Cons
Awful password system
Annoying audio

Bottom Line
A great game, definitely worth trying. Huh huh huh huh huh huh.
