Ecco: The Tides of Time

"The greatest game for Sega yet!!!"

Ecco the dolphin is the best game yet!!! I mean how could you not fall in love with this game. The graphics are excellent with cool songs and smooth control.

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are superior. Like did you ever sit down and play n64 and you get those polygonal type graphics. Thats supposed to be better than sega. But is it. No!!! E2's graphics are awesome from the animation all the way up to the detail on the vortex creatures!!!

Sound 9/10
The sound is good. Don;t get me wrong here. I gave this a 9 out of ten because some songs are kinda, geeky. But almost all the songs i've heard on that game are awesome. The only annoying thing is if ecco dies. What the heck is that noise he makes??? Anyway the songs and sound fx are excellent.

Control 9/10
The graphic are very smooth but did you ever try to cary a rock from the bottom of the ocean floor. You might end up throwing your controller at the screen!

Storyline 10/10
One word describes it. Amazing. The story line is sooo awesome. Actually its alittle creepy also. Well here it is. One day ecco is swimming with his pod and meets this other dolphion. This dolphin sends him across the ocean where ecco loses his powers. Then ecco finds out that the asterite is dead and finds Trellia. She sends ecco to meet the future asterite that tells eco he must recover the asterites magical spheres. Thats how much i know. The games so freakin hard. ^_~ Anyway its really cool.

Overall 10/10
From the graphics all the way down to the sound, this game was designed like all games should be designed. Caringly. You can tell its creators took their time and they have acheived a great game. They made everything perfect. Plus this game has some of the best animation to date. The way ecco turns to swim all the wey to the beginning with the bubbles floating around. The only bad graphics i can think of is on the open oceans when you travel through the rings. They were a bit sloppy but who cares. Besides those are basically just transportation stages.

Final notes: Ecco is a great game with cool animations, sound, control, etc. Also its kinda creepy too. But there is one thing i do have to laugh about. How come the queen is just a head. That is a bit funny. Anyway its a great game that shoudn't be underrated.

Buy it? You'd be crazy not to. To those people that have nowadays. Your lucky and so am I.
