Crystal's Pony Tale

"Major rip off"

This was obviously an attempt to capitalize on the My Little Pony Tales franchise. This is known as Crystal's Pony tale. Coincidence? I think not. This dreadful game is not even worth buying for little kids, since this game is so repititious and boring.

Story--1/10
This is a story? Crystal wants to get to the pony party in the magical castle, but in order to do so, she must put shapes in various places. What the????? I hate to break it to you, but when you do get to the party (20 minutes into the game), this party is not swinging. It was a waste of effort to go there, and I'm sure those ponies would be much more exciting if somebody slipped some magical juice into their fruit punch.

Graphics--4/10
Basic cartoony kid graphics. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. One of the few things that I did like in this game is the fact that you can color your pony whatever way you wish. I suggest a black steed with red hair. It looks demonic. I really want to see that one crash the pony party.

Control--2/10
Dreadful. The pony can kick back, jump, and perform an action, such as eating an apple. However, the movement is attrocious. It is very difficult to run from one area and perform certain jumps, i.e. jumping to a raft.

Difficulty--1/10
How hard can putting different shapes into the respective holders be? Considering that you cannot die (if you fail, you hear a guy saying ''Try again.''), this game is impossible not to beat. Even the boss of the game is a piece of cake. Yuck.

Music/sound--1/10
Terrible. Wait till you hear how often the horse ''neighs.'' It sounds like the horse is in pain. This is the worst aspect of the game, and is absolutely terrible.

Replay Value--1/10
There is no play value!!!!!!! How can you replay it? This is one of the games for the sega that make you embarrased to own a Genesis. I pity the fool who replays this game.

Overall--1/10
Overall this comes second to Barney's Hide and Seek as the worst game ever. I cannot believe that this game was made, and I cannot believe that I got through it. Perhaps I should throw it into the garbage...wait, the garbage can is too good for it!!!
