"MUCH better than the SNES one"

I've been a fan of the first Terminator movie and it was great. But the game translations were awful for NES and SNES, the NES one is so hard it wasn't even funny,, and the SNES one was poorly assembled (and very inaccurate). But along came this Genesis one, and I figured I'd play it (it couldn't hurt). I thought it was going to be inaccurate seeing as how most movie-to-game games go. But I was wrong, this one was done real well. First of all, I'm sure you know the story to this one, but it is captured real well. It's done real well, it's like playing through the actual movie, with a few extra moments that weren't in the movie at all (the future level).

Graphics: 10/10
COLORFUL. That's all that screams out, colorful, and well animated, there's more than the stiff 3 frames of animation, and the chars are animated nice and smooth. Reese looks like Reese, and everyone else looks like everyone else, and the still photo images which explain the story going into the stage are nice. And the opening is just like the movie's.

Music: 10/10
Now I know I'm used to saying everygame takes advantage of the sound system in the Genesis and... this one does ^_^. All the music is composed real well, even the theme (just need to slow it down). But it is some nice music.

Sound: 10/10
Oh this is where the Genesis one can beat the others ANY day. The gun shot sounds, sound like guns, and every hit Reese takes, he grunts differently. In the SNES one, Reese's jump sound sounds like a lazer blast.

Problems I've encountered:
Cops do not die, H.K.s in the first level come back when you go off screen, Reese shoots faster crouching than he does standing, too few different enemies, T-800 Exoskeleton appears in front of you in the factory if you drive him way off screen making it impossible to finish the level, rediculously short.

Bugs aside, I love this one a LOT (why couldn't the other ones be like this?) That's why I'm giving it a 9/10. It's worth playing, even short, just try and get through it on the other difficulties. And remember this: Reese CAN'T jump at all!
