Sonic Spinball

"Sonic + Pinball = a bad idea."

Why? I can't believe it! This game is so stupid! Why did Sonic have to go through with this game? It's so crappy, I actually bit on the cartridge after I had Game Over on the last level! Here's my review:

Story: Pure crap: Sonic was flying on his biplane, and he accidentally fell off into an ocean. He has to go through four levels of pinball torture to get back at Dr. Robotnik. Final Score: 1.2/10

Gameplay: Pinball your way through four levels to find three emeralds (five in the third level, and seven in the fourth). Once you got all the emeralds, you have to face a Dr. Robotnik boss at the end of the level. There are three bonus stages, and all of them are hard to get used to. Final Score: 2.4/10

Controls: They confuse me! I can't explain the controls in this review. Final Score: 1/10

Graphics: These aren't like the ones in Sonic's previous series. They're worse! The enemies appear from out of nowhere, and they completely mess up the gameplay. Plus I don't like that message board that tells you what happened, it should just stay on the score, and that angers me! I wish they stuck to the graphics from Sonic 2. Final Score: 1.7/10

Sound / music: Above all, the music has probably the greatest tunes that I've heard. The sound was bad, though. They should have stuck with the original sound from Sonic 1. Final Score: 6.5/10

Fun: No, not fun at all! I can't believe Sega and Sonic would stoop down to this level if they want to impress their fans. If this were a CD, I'd crack it, and throw it out the window, just like I did with Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle! Final Score: 1.6/10

Replayability: I'd rather watch one episode of Barney without blinking! There can't be any replayability in this game, that's for sure. If you even like this game, I advise you to gain 300 pounds, and look at yourself. You are now what describes the game: unattractive. Final Score: 1.1/10

I hate to give a Sonic game a 2, but why bother, all of them deserve 1s now! This game is bad in all its categories except the music. If anyone can bring crap to the Sega Genesis console Sonic did with Sonic Spinball, and Barney did with Barney's Hide and Seek. Poor excuses if you ask me.
