Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

"Don't morph your way to getting this game!"

This is a very bad fighting game. I don't know why Bandai put so much time and effort to give us this. I hated the Power Rangers series on Fox 5 Saturday Mornings. This game is just as worse. Here's what I thought:

Story: Straight from the TV series. Rita Repulsive (I think that's how you pronounce her name) sends her robots down to earth from her moon base (why in hell would anyone want to live on the moon!?) to earth so she could conquer it. As one of the five power rangers, you have to destroy each robot, than you win the game. Simple, and boring. Final Score: 3.3/10

Gameplay: Destroy each robot, and that's it. I never got through this game because of one problem. The only problem is that the last two are near impossible to beat! I don't like games that are impossible to win, and this game join the club. Final Score: 3.7/10

Controls: The worst part of game, and they won't get you very far. Fighting games have controls that are too confusing, and I can't put any controls from this game on this review. Final Score: 1.8/10

Graphics: The graphics are great! I like it when the enemies are defeated, plus I like it when the rangers use their special moves (the rangers' special moves are impossible to do, but they look cool, anyway). Final Score: 8.6/10

Music / Sound: Both the music and the sound are pretty average. Each tune fits the fighting stage pretty nicely, and the sound really fits the effects, like the explosions. The voices are from the TV series, and they are pretty bad. Final Score: 5.9/01

Fun: This game does lack in fun, just like the TV series lacks in excitement. This game is very boring, except when you beat the enemy. Final Score: 3.4/10

Replayability: How about that? Another game that lacks in replayability! I can't put my finger on this, but a lot of Genesis games lack in replayability. Final Score: 3/10

Buy, rent, or neither: Rent, if you know what you're doing, if you didn't like this game like I did, bring it back to the store, and demand a full refund.

Man! What were they thinking? I wish the Power Rangers were never born (especially the girls), because their stupid game is worse than the TV series (it deserves a six on a scale of one to ten).
