"A great little underated game"

Cannon Fodder is a great game but no one really seems to care much about it as you can see.

All you basically have is orders to carry out the mission. If any of your men die then after the mission then it shows a little scene where it shows the graves of the men scroll by and their names and rank.

Story line : 4/10 There is not much of a story line you are ordered to go certain places and carry out tasks as I said earlier. Although it doesn't take much from the game with having not that good of a story line.

Sound : 7/10 I liked the sound in particular. You could hear the men run across the ground and could hear all the guns being fired. Also when you hit the enemy they would give a cry out in pain and fall down. After they hit the ground you would hear a little thump.

Replay Value : 8/10 It's a fun game if you like going around with little men having machines guns killing everyone in your site. Otherwise if your a peace loving person you shouldn't play this game.

Gameplay : 7/10 The gameplay was nice. You could rotate your men in a 360 degree circle quite nicely. Also your range for your weapons were limited but that made the game a little more of a challenge in some ways.

Challenge : 7/10 The game was quite simple in the early part of the game. Once you continued further it seemed like the enemy soldiers just didn't stop coming! They come from all sides on level 5 + and you can lose many men and have to re-do some of the level's several times before getting it right.

Graphics : 6/10 The graphics were decent but not all that impressive. Your view is from the top so you can see all around quite nicely although it still doesn't help sometimes. The enemy could corner you in at certain places making it sometimes difficult to know where to go. In some cases you couldn't tell what was a cliff and what wasn't so you couldn't get across some places and would be trapped.

Overall I think Cannon Fodder Was a good game. If you are still into old school gaming and like top screen shoot em ups then most likely you would like this game.....Yeah, but that's just my thoughts of this game.
