Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist

"One of the best two player Sega games around"

Okay I will admit it to you. I am a die hard Ninja Turtle fan. I have been since the day that I was born and will probably always be. But even though I may be a little byeist this game still kicks some major shell.

Graphics 9/10: Okay guys and gals now really, for a game in the year 2002 the graphics would get a zero. But lets go back a decade and look at the games back then only to realize that these graphics were superior to most of the graphics in the time. The characters make some very unique poses and for some of the more advanced attacks they really look cool, even for now. However there is no way I can look at these graphics after seeing games for the New Era systems and give it a perfect ten out of ten.

Sound 9/10: None of the songs from the Turtles show but still some toe-tappers. They were right for the environment whether it was in a place that looked like a factory, the city, or the sewers. They also included grunts, explosions, and whomps when it was appropriate.

Fighting 10/10: Alright just let me say for the record that i thought it was so cool that they kept track of the number of bad guys that you defeated. That added on two the fact that you could use such moves as slide tackles, gut checks, flying kicks, and the normal kicks and punches, for a Sega game i couldn't find anything wrong with the fighting systems.

Boss Fights 9/10: This was a pretty cool part of the game but once u got it down there wasn't much to it. There was a good mixture of all the main baddies and on Shreddar besides the fact that he is basically invinceable if you have one life, they are all pretty beatable.

Multiplayer 9/10: This is really cool because you and a partnercan team up to beat the game. Whether its trying to survive longer or racking up more kills there is always a challenge that you and a friend can play with. WARNING: Both players can not be Raphael may lead to arguing and fighting. It did in my house)

Scores: Graphics-9/10
Sound-9/10
Fighting-10/10
Boss Fights- 9/10
Multiplayer-10/10
Overall: I am afraid that i may have been a little favoring the Turtles but even if you don't like them this is really a pretty good game. If you see this some where chances are it will be under five bucks so if you have a working Genisis then give it a try. I wouldn't go out of my way for this one but it still will bring enjoyment to people out there.
