Ghouls 'n Ghosts

"Old school hack n slash."

Oh how art thou brave and valiant knight? Ghouls'N'Ghosts (GnG) is one challenging and fantastic game with all of the old school qualities still in perfect shape. I do put emphasis on the word challenging but nothing to ruin the game, just makes it that much better. Playing GnG will bring back good old nostalgic memories of the good old times...you know, that warm feeling you get when you long for something.

You are the ever so humble and courageous Sir Arthur. You are thrown into lands of darkness with one main task at hand. You must enter the castle of the prince of darkness and stop him once and for all. Are you able to perform this near impossible feat? Are you man enough for the job?

The gameplay couldn't get anymore old-school than this. You will more than likely be in your glory. The only real problem I had was the incredible challenge in this game. To be honest with you I wouldn't even consider that a problem, more like a plus. You get a lot of goodies and power ups to keep you fueled to take on the darkest of dark. Also one thing that I LOVE about these kind of games is that they always keep score so you can keep track of your performance. Each level is equipped with a big bad boss fight which remains intense. You need just a bit of strategy with each to do away with them. The controls are easy and the game is serious fun!

The graphics and sounds in GnG are pure classic. Each level is long and different with tons of detailed enemies and some levels are interactive. All in which will leave you breathless. The music and sound effects seem to have a good effect on you as well. They are interesting and fit the game.

With all of this challenge and one noble adventure...this is also one game that never gets old. You will be playing GnG for plenty of time to come. I doubt you will finish this quickly your first time because the challenge is so intense. The replay value is high...believe me, you will enjoy it lots and lots.

Please if you find this game then pick it up. This old school hack n slash will be perfect for you because the game has SO much to offer. Believe me, you will not regret it, I assure you.
