"A great Mickey Mouse game with a cool title"

I liked this game when I was little and I still like it today. It got a nice look and plays well. See for yourselves.

Story

Mickey\'s gotta save Minnie from the hands of an ugly witch. The witch wants to turn Minnie ugly like her and wants to turn herself into a beautiful girl using Minnie\'s beauty. Mickey has to get past the obstacles and obtain 7 crystals in order to access the witch\'s castle and save Minnie.

Graphics -9/10

One word : Great. The backgrounds are awesome, especially the forest one. The enemies are nicely designed and Mickey looks like what he\'s supposed to look like. There are a lot of details that make the game looks even better and the animations are nice too, but Mickey looks like he\'s about to pi in his panties. You\'ll see what I mean if you stand still while playing the game.

Music/Sound -8/10

It\'s nice without being very special. The music is happy, while not catchy, and fit very well the Mickey universe and fit each levels perfectly. The sounds are great too, when Mickey jumps and his head hit the ceiling, it makes a nice \'\'tok\'\' sound.

Gameplay -8/10

The controls can be a bit tedious for a young player because of the fact that to hit an enemy, you have to press the jump button and then down on the pad. Sometimes you can forget and jump on the enemy, forgetting to press down. In that case, you\'re the injured one. This Mickey Mouse game, surprisingly, is a very fun game. It\'s quite short with 5 main worlds (with 3 sub-levels each) but you can set up the game for Practice/Normal/Difficult. The practice mode is a joke, it has only 3 levels. The normal mode isn\'t really easy but not very hard either, it depends on your skills. Some bosses can be hard though. The difficult mode is pretty hard but I never really tried it a lot. The themes of the worlds (represented by doors inside the \'\'castle of illusion\'\') are great; a magical forest, a bedroom full of toys, a temple of ruins, a huge bookcase, a cake land and a haunted castle. Through the levels, you can collect apples or balls to throw on enemies and diamonds (in hard mode) to make points. A lot of good platform elements are in the game plus some new and original ones. A great game in overall, without being the best platformer.

A nice game, mainly for kids, but also for older players that like fun platformers. You can put this game next to Mickey Mania in your games collection.
