"Stay Far Away"
To think that someone actually gave me this game as a gift for Christmas one year. Worst gift ever! Even worse than socks!
GAMEPLAY
The different events are bobsledding, moguls, ski-jumping, and downhill skiing, and more. None of which are even worth your time. You'd think with all the button mashing, there would be at least some fun in the game. Guess what? No fun what so ever. I think I actually got dumber from playing it. If you told me that you've played this game for more than five minutes than i'd call you a liar.
CONTROLS
The whole game is made up of button mashing, and even then the game still doesn't reward you with any sense of winning. The controls are clunky, and work sometimes. Try mashing your fastest in the speed skating for instance, no matter how fast you press the button, the computer is still running laps around you. Was the right controller even programmed into the game? Geez!
GRAPHICS
For a Genesis game, they are average at best. It gets overshadowed by any other 16 bit game on the console. I wouldn't say it was a downside to the game, but it certainly was the only reason that I scored this game a point.
SOUND
The main theme song to this game plays never ending over and over. Although you get a second crappy song when you start a game. When you lose the game 12 seconds later, the first song resumes again. Blah. Sound effects only really happen when you crash. I guess thats something to be thankful for
REPLAYABILITY
Go ahead, try to find any. After following the non-existent instructions, and losing terribly, would you want to play it again? I think I used the game as a door stop, if that counts.
DIFFICULTY
This is an unforgiving game, and the computer gets perfect records everytime, which is funny because all the button mashing and clunky controls makes it impossible to come in anything but last place.
BUY OR RENT?
Don't even take this game if someone is paying you to take it
