Beavis and Butt-head
Review by Alucard517
"Uh-huh-huh-huh this game rocks!"
The best series ever on MTV once upon a time, but then somebody had to go and do what they do on the show and the show got cancelled. If you have never seen this show then I suggest that you see if you can get digital T.V. because they still play some episodes on MTV 2 without all the crap they show on the other channel. Every body remembers the famous Bevis and Butthead; the best way to remember them is their little grunts they make. You know the Uh-huh-huh-huh, from Butthead, and the He-He-FIRE! from Bevis. Everyone from their childhood grew up on this and should know be almost adults or well close enough. But Sega wasn't going to let us forget them, by making this wonderful adventure game staring both of the characters themselves. One thing to make it worthwhile is they do talk a little bit in the game and it will remind you of the loving times they shared in the show.
Graphics 8
The graphics are really close to the actual show, and as you know this is a Genesis we are talking about so it couldn't have been that hard to make cartoon graphics. We all remember the clothes that they were, one with a shirt that has AC/DC on it, and that would be Butthead. Then Bevis had a Metallica shirt on, and if you have not heard of either of those bands than I suggest you go out and get a hold of some of there cd's. They did a well job with the graphics of areas they go in the show, such as the school. Also having the liberty to add Van Driessen in the game, you know the hippy teacher they have. The main focus in the graphics really is the characters; they have all of them look exactly as they would on the show, so if you know your characters you will be happy to see them in this game.
Game Play 8
The main focus of the game play is the levels. It's a side scrolling game, so there are no areas that are easy accessible like on a 3-D game. You can go through several areas that the characters themselves interact with in the show. As I mentioned you can go to the school, also you can go to the mall (sounds like fun for them). Another area is the street. But the main focus of the game is to find your GWAR tickets that you lost because of Anderson's stupid dog tearing them up. Then Mr. Anderson is going by them and runs over them with the lawn mower and blows the tickets right into the sewer. You will go through all sorts of trouble just to find your tickets but in the end it is all worth it so you will have much respite when your tickets have been found.
Sound 7
The sound quality isn't the best but hey at least you get to hear their voices in the game. There actually is music in the game and if you can't guess already who the music is by then you have not watched the show enough or you have never listened to the band. And that band is GWAR; they are the main band that Bevis and Butthead are really obsessed with. If you have seen the show you will know how they are. But in the background of some parts of the game you will hear their music and if you didn't know before then I just told you and all of your question have been answered.

Final Rating 7
Bottom line is if you liked the show you will like the game, so all you fans get your Sega out of the closet, dust that bad boy off and be prepared for the awesomeness of this game.
