Paperboy
Review by Hergiswi
"I love attacking innocent people!"
Gameplay: 10/10
You are a paperboy (or papergirl). You have to throw papers to all of your customers. Oddly enough, they have attack dogs and cats, evil demonic deranged lawnmowers, people leaving bombs on the sidewalk, kids on tricycles riding on sidewalks, statues that are really men, break dancers, construction sites, cars, chicks on motorcycles, and robbers breaking into houses. You have to dodge all these things and more. You can whack them with the paper, too. You can attack people's (odd) property for points. But only if they're not your customer! Break their windows, house foundations, statues, or don't give them the paper. And you've lost an easy customer.
Sounds/Music: 6/10
Eh...it's ok. Nothing really special. I mean, it's genesis. But hey, that doesn't really matter. Besides, the sounds aren't annoying or anything. The kid will say a comment when you crash him, and he'll have a paper bag over his head.
Graphics: 8/10
Once again, how much can you do with sega? They're not that bad, though. Those break-dancers really spin! Everything is pretty much clear of what it is.
Story: 2/10
You're a paperboy. You deliver papers. You lose customers if you break their windows or house foundations.
Multiplayer: 6/10
You're not competing, you just take turns. Basic sega game (which stinks). They should have made it into a simultaneous game so you can have bike wars.
Replayability: 9/10
This is really a fun game. You can play it over and over again, and you can just ride around and attack people. It's great.
Rent or Buy: Buy
Buy it. It's worth the money. And I'm sure they're running cheap now. Check eBay, they probably have it on other consoles, too.
Overall: 9/10
You'll really enjoy this game if you get it. I mean, if you don't have a paper route, this may be your only chance to attack random neighborhood folk with newspapers!
