"Brings back memories"

Introduction: I remember playing this game when I was very young and enjoying every part of the game. Now streets of rage is a classic genesis up beat 'um game made by the sega genesis. If you don't believe me take a look more inside.

Story 7/10: The story follows up as a big guy and his minions of thugs (sort of) that captured a big city and it's in danger. As you can choose between three strong cops to beat him up. So basically you walk and kill people through those big levels. Score 7/10

Graphics 5/10: This is the part that I most hated, the graphics of course. The characters look like cartoon or something and the enemies look like a animation show! The environments at least, are very colourful and very unique thought. The weapons look good too, but they lack a lot in color. If the creators had putted a little more work maybe it could have been much much better. Score 5/10

Gameplay 9/10: Now this is wild, amazing, outstanding gameplay! Now you choose between three amazing characters and you go in streets and you beat the everyone's ass. In the gameplay you fight in different places towns, beaches, elevators etc. When you fight you can use lots of weapons including bats, knifes and many more. As in this wonderful game, you can do outstanding moves, you can jump and kick, trow yourself in the air and do a mega kick. Seriously I really enjoyed the gameplay and the first of the series of the streets of rage it's good. Score 9/10

Controls 10/10: The controls are basically very easy once you have mastered the game. As for the beginners it's a peace of cake, B is to attack and to do very different moves, A is to call for help (the police) so that they can come for your support and aid, C is to jump and of course do all the moves needed with the jump button C. In my opinion the controls are the best and the most easy thing to learn from this game. Score 10/10

Sound 10/10: Ok I must admit the sound and music in this game is so good that when I beat a level I reset my sega to hear it again. Basically in most of the levels there's always something good. My favorite is the level 7 , ah now that music is so good, like an adventure or a classic music. A lot of people (and I don't know why) say that almost all the things in this game are repetitive a lot especially the music. Now you say in your head, a lot of say it so it's true. Let me tell you folks that in this game NOTHING is repetitive and of course not the beloved music. The music is really classic and very enjoyable hearing it when you are with a two player friend mode. Score 10/10.

Challenge 7/10: I putted 7 on ten because some levels are very challenging others are not challenging. In many levels, there's many thugs trying to surround you and kill you, and in others (rare one) they have traps like holes and such. Bosses are very hard in streets of rage, it demands a lot of strategy and moves. Score 7/10

Overall 9/10: I really think streets of rage deserves a 9/10. If you still own a sega genesis system or anything else kind of sega system and you don't have this game you don't know what you're missing. If you find it for a short price get it. It's cheap but very rare to find these kind of games these days. So if by any chance you see this game get it! Also if you don't find this game and by any chance you find it's sequels, immediately take that, there better and super duper in the graphics. Well that's it for my review, I hoped you enjoy it! So basically after that you just readied this review go out and buy it now!!! Go get it Now!!!!! Final Score 9 out of 10 and good luck finding it!
