"They really did do a great game with the sequel"

They still kept this game just as good as they did the original. I personally thought that the first one was just a little bit better but this is still another great side scrolling fighter. I was introduced to this game just like the first one through the arcades. I would continuously keep popping in quarters. So lets get into the review!

Graphics 10/10
This is really the only thing that I noticed that was upgraded in this sequel. The backgrounds are much much better. The characters look a lot better and so does the magic moves. I think that they did a very good job on this part of the game. Graphics are the main thing people look for in a game and this game is one of the best there is when it comes to the graphics department.

Sound 9/10
The music is basically the same as it was in the first game. The only different is now is that some parts of the game are a little bit better. Its like in some parts of the game there are more parts where it sounds like its more of a mystical part and then there are some parts where the sound is way worse than it was in the first game.

Story 9/10
This is basically the same type of story as the first one but only now there is a different end boss. After destroying the Death Adder in the first game a couple years later a new person will rise up and try to take over the world his name you ask? Well its Dark Guld, The Lord of Darkness. So its your job once again to rise up and overpower him. Sounds fun doesn't it?

Gameplay 9/10
This is basically the exact same thing as the first game. Only now things look a little bit better because of the better graphics. The magic is the only thing that changed and it sure was a noticeable change!! While in the first game the more magic potions you had the better the spell you could cast. Well in this game it really doesn't matter how many magic potions you have because you will do the same spell with the same strength every single time. The only thing that magic potions do in this game is the more that you have the more spells you are able to cast. This still has the 2 player mode so this is a very good addition that they kept.

Replability 9/10
This like the first game is no different. You are going to want to keep playing this game way after you have finished it.

Rent or Buy?
Same as the first if you find it then I highly recommend you picking it up but if you can't then I recommend you going to your local arcade and just play it there. I tell you right now you won't regret it!
