When you pick up this game you might think, Oh brother, another NBA Jam. But it isn't. It has better character sprites, more players and even a Create Player. It even has the expansion teams: the Vancouver Grizzlies andToronto Raptors. Read on about it.

Graphics- This game has spectacular graphics. The players look like something,
the court looks like it should and the uniforms look nice. The rooftop court looks AMAZING with the city background. 9/10

Animations- The animations are good. The downfall of these are because of the dribbling. They just kind of slap the ball. The running and super dunks are really cool which makes up for the dribbling. 7/10

Sound- The commentary gets very annoying and runs on about nothing at points. This REALLY gets annoying when he shouts SPECTACULAR when you lay up. The music is nice and quiet so it doesn’t distract you and the sound FX are good. 6/10

Options/Variety- This game has good options, such as the timer speed and drone difficulty. This is good if you think the game is easy and need a challenge. You can turn the music and sound on and off and it even gives you a sound test at the beginning. 9/10

Secrets- All sports games that are also in the arcade have secrets and this game has a lot! You use the turbo, pass and shoot buttons to enter number combos so they are pretty easy to access. 10/10

Gameplay- You can have four players for a game, 5 difficulty levels, create a player and many secrets. This has to be one of the most original B-ball games there is. 9/10

Replay Value- You’ll have to come back for more if you are going to beat all the teams. You’ll want to come back even more to max out the stats of your custom character. 8/10

The Bottom Line- If you like basketball and don’t have a basketball game, pick this up. If you have NBA Jam or another basketball game, still pick it up as soon as possible. This game gets a 9.
