=\0|0/=--- i) Preface ---=\0|0/=
=\_/= ============================================== =\_/=
Who ever heard of a preface in a walkthrough? Well, anyway,
I'd like to say some stuff:
Do not send me ANY e-mail asking me on how to finish
Majora's Mask, get item (X), or anything else about the
game. Everything, and I repeat, EVERYTHING about Majora's
Mask will make its way in here... Someday... I do gladly
receive comments about this guide, questions about this
guide, or suggestions about some stuff you think I should
put in (this guide is to be COMPLETE... I need it to rule
the world, mwoohoohahahaaaa!!!). I will most likely NOT
answer your e-mail unless the reply is specifically meant
for you and you alone. Anyone not willing to act to my
wishes can suck my *****... Oh, wait... Suck your own *****.
If you e-mail me, CLEARLY state that it's about this guide
in the subject line. If someone sends me an e-mail about
anything that has to do with Zelda but has a subject like
"Hello", he/she will not only be one of the most stupid
people I know (and I mean it), but his/her e-mail adress
will also be put in my "ignore" list, and none of his/her e-
mails to me, no matter what the subject, WILL NOT BE READ OR
EVEN LOOKED AT... Just let me be!!! I do not mind e-mails
not having proper spelling or grammar, but PLEASE, let it be
English... E-mails containing stuff like "R U stoopit? I h8
Ur Walkthru" will not only be deleted, but also be laughed
at by none other than... Guess what... ME. This is merely a
way of saying "I outsmart you", so don't take it personally.
How do I love writing this guide, being able to self-
proclaim all I want? (Don't e-mail me with the answer to
that question... :P). I like smileys... I also DO NOT want
comments about myself. I know I'm a strange guy and I don't
need others to tell me... :b

=\0|0/=--- III) Version History ---=\0|0/=
=\_/= ============================================== =\_/=
Version 0.1: Well, I started writing... I mean typing... I
still want some Frequently Asked Questions. Quite logical
seen the fact that this guide isn't on-line yet, so I
haven't got any e-mails about it... :)
Version 0.2: I still haven't published it... Maybe I
should... I'm getting along very well with almost every
chapter... Except for the Walkthrough itself...
Troublesome... I also still need to put in the Pieces of
Heart and some maps...
Version 0.3: I realised I'm still missing these chapters:
Other Shops and Houses (out of town), Enemies, Stray Fairy
Locations and the Spider Houses, so I've added them. Not
finished them, I just made the headers.
Version 0.4: I decided to dump my normal headers and make
new ones with a bit more... flair. The image of the headers
of each chapter now have something to do with the chapters
themselves. And if not, it's just a small version of
Majora's Mask (if you think it's ugly, you try making one in
ASCII format yourself). I still need to begin the
walkthrough, though all the other chapters are (practically)
done. Oh, lazy me. The file's already 274 Kilobytes big, so
I think it's going to be HUGE. I 'm not looking forward to
upload this all, my internet speed is SO low... :(
Version 0.5: Finished the Walkthrough all the way up to
+Romani Ranch. Added some people to the credits section.
Version 0.6: I am working hard on the Walkthrough now. I've
finished all the way up to when you learn the Elegy of
Emptiness.
Version 1.0: FINISHED and ready for publication, which has
already been done by the time you read this... :P
24th of October, 2005
Version 1.01: Corrected and added something in the
"Controls" chapter and added some "Strange and/or Funny"
things.
26th of October, 2005
Version 1.02: I found out how to win the lottery... Well,
"Karen" told me... Of course, I added this to the
walkthrough. ParkAvenger sent me a few glitches, and
reminded me of some stuff. Thanks to both!
15th of December, 2005
Version 1.1: I made a big change in the Timeline, chapter
31...
6th of January, 2006
Version 1.11: I added some Strange and/or Funny Stuff,
chapter 32. Some stuff in Sakon's Hideout. Check it out!
15th of January, 2006
Version 2.0: BIG update, as I've added an entire chapter.
Chapter 32: The Three-Day Run... Prepare for a challenge.
24th of February, 2006
Version 2.1: I corrected some mistakes... Thanks go to
Dierendokter Tom (which is Dutch for Vetenarian Tom).
Other stuff added: on popular demand (and by popular I mean
two people), I added a section decribing how to play other
songs on your instrument than the Zelda songs... Check it!!!
On other popular demand (one person) I added some glitches/
bugs. I had not added these before because they only work in
earlier version of the game. Therefore, I HAVE NOT TESTED
THESE! Don't e-mail me that they don't work unless you're
ABSOLUTELY SURE you've got the oldest version of the game...
Thanks go to Santiago Carranza for giving me one of these
glitches... If it works... :P
And... Thank Kyler Tomassetti, for correcting me on the
All-Night Mask price... Not 300, but 500 Rupees...
Lastly, I'd like to make a note:
DO NOT E-MAIL ME TELLING ME I MISSED STUFF WHEN IT *IS* IN
THIS DOCUMENT!!! USE YOUR EYES!!! Thank you...
26th of March, 2006
Version 2.2: Added the fact that you can remove the jinx
you get from touching a Blue Bubble by playing the Song of
Storms (thanks to Pink Angel).
Also thanks to Silverevilchao for reminding me of some more
easy money.
Also also thanks go to Ultima113 for telling me that if you
cheat by using a walkthrough, you might as well cheat all
the way when getting Piece of Heart 39. Also thanks to
JonyQ, for unintendedly reminding mo of a cool glitchy-like
thing when using the Blast Mask. I doubt he knows it himself
right now, but he reminded me nonetheless... :-)
Also also also, Kevin Stewart and Justin from California
both got me a new Keaton Question. Uhm... Two different ones
that is... Check out chapter 24... Or else... Or else what?
...Exactly.
Also also also also, I copied (not cut) the Cow-milk trick
from the Song chapter into the Bottle Stuff Chapter, so
you'll have, y'know, a better idea of where to get it...
21st of June, 2006
Version 2.21: Only thing I remember doing is adding a way
to avoid the King of Ikana's head. (Thanks go to Thomas
Morrison and m&m, who e-mailed me at about the same time.)
3rd of August, 2006
Version 2.22: Added some info to the "Termina an island???"
bit in the strange and/or funny stuff section. Also, after
thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that
"Strange and/or Funny Stuff" really is a ridiculous name
for a chapter. But somewhat funny nonetheless. (What was I
thinking? (Don't answer this question either.))
Also too, tiny new piece of info about the Part-time Trading
Post guy. To be more precise, about knocking him from a tree
in Termina Field. Thanks go to Josiah!
17th of August, 2006.
(Technically the 18th, because it's after midnight, but who
gives a damn?)
Version 2.3: New "Easy money" trick in the "Hints & Tricks"
section that should have been in there a looong time ago.
About cutting bushes.
Also, thanks to Rose Spirit, the following stuff has been
added/corrected:
-I apparentely misread Goht for Goth for five-and-a-half
years, and I finally corrected it.
-Masked Hiploops can be de-masked using bombs.
-Method of regaining magic during the Twinmold battle (handy
if you're using the Giant's Mask).
-On the occasion, I also added some adjectives to Twinmold's
description. Silliness is good!
-Yes, you *can* hit Majora's Mask (in all forms) with your
sword, and you *can* block Incarnation's balls of energy
with your shield.
-Girls can't be fags. Can they?
Also, added by Shawn's advice:
Snappers can be turned around by bombing them.
The bubbles around Warts can be removed relatively easily by
using Fire Arrows and then the Spin Attack. I myself rather
find bombs a bit more useful than arrows, as you may need
them later in the battle, but... Oh, well...
Also also also (I should stop this lame joke ^_^) Hansoo Kim
kindly told me I had a Keaton Question listed twice. It's
been corrected, of course.
28th of August, 2006
Version 2.31: Dominic Jones pointed out the fact that you
can only get Kamaro's Mask after midnight, so I changed that
in the Mask chapter. Somehow, though, it already was in the
Bombers' Notebook section. "Confusion rises as inconsistency
is discovered."
And: new trick: getting over high fences without Epona!
Thanks go out to Singed.
And: removed some info from the Walkthrough, because it's
false, as told by Nicolas Prieto and Katie Mason. As Nicolas put it:
"It is not necessery to go back in time or anything like
that.. all you have to do is throw a bomb in front of the
music box houses door. And Pamela will come out with
curiosity, and then you can sneak in with the stone mask."
Additionally, as I found out during testing, she'll also
come out if you just wait a bit (longer than usual).
3rd of October, 2006
Version 2.4: Two small typoes fixed, thanks to Yennipewp
and Bob Mogal for telling meab out it. Also, this FAQ's
anniversary came... and went...
jlito476 noted me of a "glitch" that can now be found in
chapter 33.
callum123 noted me of the fact that you don't need Magic
Beans in the Swamp Spider House, as long as you've got the
Bunny Hood.
Oni-Link forced me into putting in that you can use the
Bunny Hood instead of the Hookshot to get the Captain's Hat.
Also, he and Keaton Warrior told me about a missing Keaton
question. Keaton Warrior also corrected me on the Deku Scrub
Playground price. Ten Rupees, not five. :)
21th of April, 2007
Version 2.5: Jeff Latham notified me that you don't need the
hookshot to complete the Swamp Spider house, as you can also
use Zora Link's fins to get far-off tokens.
Also, I updated the Zelda Storyline to include Twilight
Princess.
4th of August, 2007
Version 2.51: As Marc-val kindly notified me of, my picture
in chapter 6 (The Screen) was off: the Small Key icon is
above the Rupee icon, not below it. Also, typo fixed.
Because updates are so rare nowadays that typoes get
mentioned.
6th of January, 2008
Version 3.0: Massive update to chapter 7, Characters, and
similarly, chapter 8, Groups/tribes. Overall character
information is now much more detailed, with more stuff about
personalities and emotions. Also now included in the
characters chapter: Majora's Mask and, dun-duuun, the
mysterious Fierce Deity (along with a handful of other new
entries.) I also removed a double Gossip Stone quote, and
added a bunch of Gossip Stone Quotes that either never made
it to the game. Oh, and a bunch of typoes, as usual.
It seems that, for all this time, I forgot to put the Big
Octo and the Skullwalltula on the enemy list, so I've added
those as well.
Gedof Melemarki also pointed out that Gibdoes, if set on
fire, turn into ReDeads.
Jacob Magnusson told me of a funny conversation between
the curiosity shop owner and Sakon. See chapter 33!
And I added a hug from Cremia to chapter 33 as well.
18th of May, 2008
Version 3.1: Changed the name of the Latte Barkeeper to his
proper name, Mr. Barten, and updated his character
information a slight bit. I know, I know, I should have
done this a long time ago.
Handful of small, unnotable changes to chapter 9, The Map.
After an e-mail from John Hoffman, I took another look at
the Swamp Spider House, and I've updated that section to
reflect findings: you only need to have one bomb and two
Magic Beans with you when you enter to complete it! (And, of
course, a Deku Stick to get inside.) Unintendedly relatedly,
simz the pantsless wonder told me that, rather than rolling
into the big tree inside the Swamp Spider House, you can
also perform a Goron ground pound nearby. Not useful, I
know, but if everything anyone ever did was meant to be
useful, life would suck.
Three cheers for luvlegos, too. First off, he reminded me
to update the Enemies chapter to include which monsters drop
50 Rupees when shot with a Light Arrow. Second, he told me
of a bug in the Stone Tower Temple (see Chapter 33).
Finally, he managed to stall this update by something like a
month by telling me about a bug in the Town Shooting
Gallery, also readable in chapter 33.

NOTE: This is the story from the instruction booklet, not my
own:
In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend.
A legend held dearly by the Royal Family that tells of a
boy...
A boy who, after battling evil and saving Hyrule, crept away
from the land that had made him a legend...
Done with the battles he once waged across time, he embarked
on a journey. A secret and personal journey...
A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend...
A friend with whom he parted ways when he finally fulfilled
his heroic destiny and took his place among legends...
In other words, Link decides to search for Navi from OoT...
WHAT, YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED OCARINA OF TIME!?!?! I hate you.
YOU'VE PLAYED OCARINA OF TIME? Great! I figure it could also
be Saria... Or could it?

Stick
Control Stick:
Generally used to move Link around. It can also be used to
look at something after pressing C-Up, or while looking
through the Astronomer's telescope. In this case, up is
down, and down is up.
A Button:
Action Icon. This means Link will do what this button says.
What this button says is shown in the top of the screen.
What the top of the screen shows is shown on the television.
The television says whatever's on the television.
Several things this BUTTON can say are:
-Grab: Stand in front of something you can grab and hold
down the A Button. If you grabbed a big block, you can push
or pull it with the control stick.
-Climb: While standing in front of a ledge or Epona, press A
to get on it/her.
-Drop: If you are hanging from a ladder on a ledge, you can
press this button to drop yourself. If you're holding
something over your head you can drop this button to set it
back down again.
-Throw: When grabbing something you can hold over your head,
you can press the A button while running to throw whatever
you're holding.
-Open: while standing in front of a door or a treasure
chest, press the A button to open it.
-Speak: While standing in front of a person, press the A
button to speak to him/her.
-Check: While standing in front of a sign, press the A
button the view the sign.
-Attack: While Z-targeting with your sword in your hand,
you'll perform a leap, or when you're walking without Z-
targeting OR without your sword, you'll make a roll.
-Faster: While riding Epona, press A to go a bit faster. It
will cost you a carrot, but they will replenish themselves.
-Down: While on Epona, stand still and press A to get off.
-Put Away: If you're holding something in your hand, wait
for half a second, and then press A. You'll put away
whatever you're holding in your hand.
-Dive: When you're in the water, press and hold A to dive
down. You can only dive to a very small depth as normal
Link.
The following moves don't show up on your television screen:
-Back Flip: While moving backwards using Z-targeting, press
A to perform a Back Flip.
-Side Jump: While moving sideways using Z-targeting, press A
to perform a Side Jump.
B Button:
Swing Sword. This can be done in a variety of ways:
-Horizontal Swing: Press B while standing still, or press B
while walking left or back using Z-targeting.
-Diagonal Swing: Press B while walking right using Z-
targeting or stab three times or rapidly perform three
Vertical slashes.
-Vertical Swing: Press B while running forward, or press B
while Z-targeting.
-Stab: Press B while Z-targeting AND walking forward.
-Spin: Press B and hold it. Letting loose will cause you to
swing. The power depends on your magic power. If you spin
the control stick really fast, and then press B, you
immediately perform the strongest spin you have, and it
won't cost you magic power.
-Jump Attack: While in midair, press B to perform a Jump
Attack.
While on Epona, the B button acts like a C-button with the
Hero's Bow set to it.
By performing three Horizantal or Vertical swings or three
stabs very fast (mash them buttons), your third attack will
look quite cooler.
C-Left, C-Right, and C-Down:
In the start menu, move the cursor to an item or mask. Press
one of these buttons to set the selected item to the
corresponding button. After exiting the start menu, press
the button again to use the item.
C-Up:
Press C-Up to take a look at the world through Link's eyes.
Use the Control Stick to look around. If Tatl something to
say, press this button.
Z button:
Press Z to "Z-target". If there is a coloured little arrow
(Z-cursor) somewhere on the screen, Link will look (or aim)
there. If there isn't, the camera will position itself
behind Link.
R button:
Raise your shield. If you're on land, press R to hold up
your shield. If you're Z-targeting, you can walk around with
your shield. If you're not, you will crouch down and can use
the control stick to move the shield.
Start button:
Press start to view the subscreens.
L Button:
Press L to show or hide the minimap in the bottom-left
corner of the screen. You do need to have bought a map in
order to have a minimap.
---Changes when wearing the Deku Mask---
-The "Attack" funtion of the A button changes into doing a
pirouette, hurting enemies with your cap as it swings along
-The B button changes from using the sword into shooting a
bubble. Press B to shoot a small bubble, or press and hold B
to make the bubble bigger, then release B to shoot it. The
advantage of this is that you can shoot further. Note that
bubbles may burst if they are too large. Shooting bubbles
costs magic power.
-The shield is changed into a hard shell. You can't move
while having it raised, but you can't get hit by any normal
damage (that excludes stuff like fire).
-You can't ride on Epona
---Changes when wearing the Goron Mask---
-The "Attack" function of the A button changes into "Curl".
This means that you curl yourself into a stone ball. You now
use the control stick to roll forward or change the
direction in which you're moving. When rolling, red flames
will appear around your body. If you stop, these flames will
disappear. When your flames reach a certain size, spikes pop
out of your body (with which you can hurt enemies), your
speed increases significantly and your speed becomes
constant (that is, you can't accelerate or slow down; the
only way to stop is to drain all your magic, bump into
something or release A). This way of rolling costs magic
power.
-If you're curled, but not rolling with spikes popped out,
you can press B to do a ground pound.
-Your fist replaces your sword. Your fist is more powerful,
but it's slower and blunt, so you can't hurt certain
enemies, like ChuChus, but you can smash boulders.
-The shield is changed into a hard shell. You can't move
while having it raised, but you can't get hit by any normal
damage (that excludes stuff like fire).
-You can't ride on Epona
---Changes when wearing the Zora Mask---
-Your fins replace the sword. This only means that you lose
most sword techniques, but you gain one: if you press AND
HOLD the B button, then release, you'll shoot away your
fins.
-When swimming in the water, press the B button to slowly
sink to the bottom. On the bottom, controls are quite like
those on land, except for the A button (see following).
-When standing on the bottom or swimming in the water after
making yourself sink, press A to stop sinking and start
floating to the surface again.
-When swimming in the water, when NOT on the bottom or
sinking to it, press A to swim really fast. If you hold A,
you keep on swimming. (For fun: try jumping out of the
water)
-When SWIMMING in the water, press R to raise an electric
shield all around you. This not only protects you, but also
hurts enemies. This costs magic power.
-You can't ride on Epona

Rupees Minute Day AM/PM Hour
Life Energy
Link's health is shown in hearts, you know, heart-shaped
things... You begin the game with three hearts, but you can
raise the amount of hearts you have all the way up to 20.
Magic Meter
Early in the game, Link gets a magic ability. Every magic
ability costs magic. This meter shows how many magic you've
got left. The meter can be doubled in size.
Rupees
This is the amount of Rupees you have. Rupees are the
currency in Termina. In the beginning of the game, you can
carry 99 Rupees. You can raise that maximum to 500.
Small Keys
This Icon is only visible in dungeons. Small Keys open
locked doors, but you can only open one locked door per key.
B Button Icon
This icon usually indicates your main weapon. As normal Link
and Fierce Deity Link, this is a sword. As Deku, Goron and
Zora Link, it's a word indicating what would happen if the B
button would be pressed.
Action Icon
This icon shows what would happen if the A button would be
pressed. To see a list of those things, see chapter 5,
"Controls".
C Left, Right & Down Icons
These three icons can show a picture of an item. Pressing
the corresponding button would mean Link uses that item.
Mini Map
A small map showing the area you're currently in. The red
arrow shows where you entered this area, the yellow arrow
shows where you currently are. Hide the Mini Map with the L
button.
AM/PM
This small icon shows whether it is currently day or night.
During the day, this icon is a sun. During the night, it's a
moon.
Day
The current day. (1st, 2nd or Final)
Hour
The time in hours. This icon moves along the edge of the
clock, like a clock arm.
Minute
This icon looks like a small star. It moves like the long
arm of a clock. It indicates the current minutes that have
past in the current hour.

/##\ ----- VII) Characters ----- /##\
|| ================================================== ||
NOTE: Some of the characters appear in the Bombers'
Notebook. To these characters are given two descriptions:
the one from the Bombers' Notebook and my own. The rest only
has my own description. Note that if you don't want massive
spoilers, I suggest you don't actually read this chapter.
It's much more spoiler-intensive than nearly every other
chapter. Though I suppose you're reading this to learn
things about Majora's Mask that you don't know yet, but
still...
Link
The hero of the story. After saving Hyrule in Zelda: Ocarina
of Time, Navi, Link's fairy, left him. He went off in search
for her, and ended up being robbed by the Skull Kid. Though
his real name is Link, you can name him whatever you want.
Skull Kid
If you get lost in the Lost Woods in Hyrule, you become one
of these. They're creatures made out of wood wearing a red
jacket, yellow shorts, and a red hat. One of them, known in
the game as "the Skull Kid," is seemingly the main bad guy
in the game. He has been in Termina a long time ago, and
become friends with the four guardian giants. However, when
the giants parted ways to guard Termina from the four
compass directions, the Skull Kid felt left out and
betrayed, causing him to wreak havoc on Termina. The giants
then banished him from Termina, which presumably resulted
in his presence in Hyrule in Ocarina of Time. Later,
however, he returns to Termina, probably because his friends
in Hyrule didn't like him any more. On a certain cold night,
the Skull Kid is hungry and lonely. He is found by two
fairies, who then take care of him. After a while, the Skull
Kid starts stealing stuff. When robbing the mask salesman,
he find Majora's Mask. He puts it on, and it takes control
over him. He goes on stealing and causing all sorts of
trouble in Termina. One day, he robs Link (how could he?) of
his Ocarina of Time, and of his horse, Epona. He becomes so
evil, that he uses the powers of Majora's Mask to make the
moon crash on top of Termina. In the ending of the game
(MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD), he says you Link smells just like the
boy who taught him a song in the woods. Now we know that
this Skull Kid is the Skull Kid that you see when going left
in the Lost Woods from OoT.
Majora's Mask
Yes, he's a character. I'm not going to give details about
how to defeat him here, you'll have to check out chapter 13.
I'm focusing on his character here.
Majora's Mask is a mask used by an ancient, lost tribe in
their hexing rituals. The wearer of the mask would be
bestowed with unimaginable magical powers, but his heart's
darkest desires would take over. The ancient tribe, knowing
the enormous destruction the mask could cause, locked it
away. However, the tribe has since vanished, so the true
nature of the mask's powers are unknown. Seeing the game's
focus on people's essences and/or magical powers being
stored in masks, I'd guess that there was an evil magician
named Majora, whose spirit got locked in a mask. But that's
a guess. During the game itself, Majora's Mask takes control
over the Skull Kid, and uses him as a puppet to bring down
the moon. It isn't evil out of anger or revenge, but it's
evil just for the fun of it. Majora's Mask and the Fierce
Deity Mask seem to have a history together, but for that,
see the entry on the Fierce Deity.
Tatl
One of the two fairies that found the Skull Kid. After the
Skull Kid attacks Link, Tatl gets separated from his younger
brother Tael and the Skull Kid. Because she can't leave on
her own, she goes with Link. During the game, Tatl will give
Link advice about certain situations and enemies.
Tatl's main character trait is her sarcasm, often half
insulting Link. She grows on him, though, and the two become
close friends. So close, in fact, that she feels genuinely
sad when, at the end of the game, Link departs again from
Termina.
Tael
Tatl's little brother. He stays with the Skull Kid for the
entire game. Through Tatl's words, we learn that Tael is not
very brave, which serves as an explanation for why Tael
stays on the Skull Kid's side throughout the game, even
though he knows that he is destroying Termina. At the
confrontation at the top of the clock tower at midnight of
the Third Day, he does display a slightly courageous act,
telling Tatl to bring the four who are in Clock Town's four
surrounding areas to the top of the tower.
Deku King
The king of the Dekus. He has a big tomato-like hat. His
daughter has been kidnapped and he is not happy about it. He
thinks that a monkey kidnapped his daughter, so there's a
"sacrificial ceremony" going on at the Deku Palace...
The Deku King is very quick to judge, (in some cases, too
quick,) he overreacts, and he has quite the temper.
Deku Princess
The Deku King's daughter. She sent a monkey to investigate
Woodfall Temple when the swamp became poisonous. She was
kidnapped by the Skull Kid & Co. and taken prisoner at
Woodfall Temple. On a side note, I think she is inflatable,
because she actually fits inside a bottle...
Like her father, she can have a temper, as displayed when
she tells the Deku King off for punishing the monkey.
Deku Butler
The Royal Deku Butler. He likes to race his son with his
flying umbrella. He is a very polite Deku and bows all the
time. Lately, however, his son has gone missing, and the
Butler is reminded of him when he sees you in Deku form. At
the end of the game, he can be seen crouching in front of
the dead human-like tree from the very beginning of the
game: apparently the soul that Majora's Mask trapped in the
Deku Mask when he turned you into Deku Link was that of the
butler's son, who thereby died.
Spider Guy #1
He dwells in the Swamp Spider House, because someone
(probably the Skull Kid) told him that he would find riches
there. He was cursed by the Golden Skulltulas and turned
into a spider. If you destroy all of the Golden Skulltulas
in the Swamp Spider House, this guy is changed back to
normal. He gives you a reward for doing so.
Carpenter apprentice/Spider Guy #2
During the First Day, he can be found on top of the festical
tower in South Clock Town, staring at the moon. After
nightfall, he even says that it's "bad". If you kill all the
gold Skulltulas in the Ocean Spider House, he'll have found
his way there and heard noises inside, so he went in. He asks
you if (now that it is spider-free) he can use it as a
shelter, thinking it will be safe there. Funny side fact: if
you save the Ocean Spider House on the First Day and return
to South CLock Town, one of the carpenters will still yell at
the apprentice, not noticing that he is no longer on top of
the festival tower.
Bean Salesman
This person lives in a hole under Deku Palace. He sells you
beans for 10 Rupees a piece. How he got in his cave is a
mystery, but he seems to survive on his bag filled with Magic
Beans.
Tingle
The most annoying person from the entire game. Floating high
above ground, he makes maps, which he sells in five areas:
Clock Town, Southern Swamp, Snowhead, Great Bay Coast and
Ikana. He's about the same length as Link, and he thinks he's
a forest fairy, but he's actually 35 years old. His father is
very ashamed of him.
Darmani
The great Goron hero. He went to check out the blizzard
coming from Snowhead, but it threw him in a ravine and he
died, probably by a very nasty, huge cut in his belly. His
spirit now dwells with the Goron, but they can't see him, and
he can only watch how his people freeze to death. He feels
guilty for all that, and he wants his soul to be healed from
it. You can only see him using the Lens of Truth, but when
not using it, you can still see his shadow on the ground. He
used to be the fastest Goron Racer ever.
Goron Elder
An old, hunchbacked Goron. After Darmani dies, he goes to
check out the blizzard as well, but he freezes along the
way. When Link tells him his son is crying for him, he wants
to go back, but he knows he shouldn't, so he teaches you
part of a song to put him to sleep. When spring comes to
the mountains, he reveals that he wants Darmani to become
the next Goron leader.
Goron Elder's Son
A young baby Goron. He wants to see his daddy, the Elder,
and starts crying so hard and annoying, even the fires go
out. He's also a big fan of Darmani, because he's the
fastest Goron racer around. He is the only Goron that is not
surprised that Darmani is still alive, probably because
nobody told him of his recent death.
Powder Keg Maker
A big fat Goron lying in a cave near the Goron Village. He
makes the most powerful of bombs, Powder Kegs, but you need
his approval to use them.
Biggoron
A veeery big Goron. He likes sitting on snowhead, blowing
his guts out, though it might be that he is only sitting
there under the Skull Kid's powers. He blows so hard that
you get blown back.
Smiths
Two human smiths working in the Mountain Village. The big
one is called Gabora. He has something on his face... They
can make your sword stronger, but unless they reinforce it
with Gold Dust, it's only temporary. The other, smaller,
unnamed smith spends his time lounging on the sofa while
Gabora does all the smithing work. He also tries to rip off
Link when he tries to sell Gold Dust, only offering 40
Rupees for it, while the Curiosity Shop will offer 200
Rupees.
Don Gero
A Goron with the ability to talk to frogs, and leader of
the frog choir. He sits on a ledge in the Mountain Village,
starving. If you bring him some food, he'll give you his
mask.
Fisherman
Well, what can I say about this guy? He's a fisherman who
lives on the Great Bay beach. Even he can't catch fish
nowadays, because the water's so murky and warm. He has a
specimen of a really rare fish, but he's willing to trade it
for a picture of them pirates...
Marine Biologist
Is this a man or a woman? A man. He lives in a round metal
structure with a hook on top. He also has a huge aquarium,
and a smaller one. The big one is reserved for Lulu's Zora
eggs. He researches the ocean, and therefore knows a lot
about the current murky state of the ocean, and also about
Zora eggs.
Mikau
The guitarist of the band The Indigo-Go's. When he tried to
recover Lulu's eggs, he was attacked by the pirates (I think
it was the pirates), and left dying. When Link finds him,
he's barely alive, but he wants his soul to be healed so he
can die already... He is/was a good friend, and possibly a
romantic interest of Lulu. His guitar is made out of fish
bones.
Lulu
The Indigo-Go's' singer. She laid some eggs the other day,
but they got stolen by the pirates (from her own private
room). She's lost her voice too. There's a legend that
whenever something's wrong at Great Bay Temple, something
bad will happen to the ocean and to the Zora descendant
who's protecting the temple. Obviously, Lulu's that
guardian. She told Tijo about it and later, she tells it to
Mikau as well. She was initially afraid to tell Mikau,
raising the possibility that Mikau is the father of the Zora
eggs.
Tijo
A really fat Zora. He's the drummer of the Indigo-Go's. His
drums appear to be made out of heads quite similar to Tijo's
own head... He appears to be the only one who knows
something about why Lulu lost her voice.
Japas
A totally relaxed Zora who plays the bass for the Indigo-
Go's. He jams a lot with Mikau, creating songs with him,
much to band leader Evan's irritation.
Evan
Did anyone ever see a brown Zora? Evan's the Band-leader of
The Indigo-Go's. He plays the piano. He doesn't like Mikau
and Japas writing songs, because he thinks that's his
privilege. He is very concerned about Lulu, but that's
probably just because he needs her to sing, so he doesn't
want Lulu's voice to be gone... When you play a certain
song for him, he'll shamelessly use it as if it were his
own.
Aveil
She's the big chief o' them Pirates. Not much to say about
her, anyway... Only see her once in the entire game. As one
could expect from a pirate leader, she's quick to anger,
and very displeased by failure on other poeple's behalf.
Apparently, she (like the other Pirates) is scared of giant
bees.
Great Turtle
The guardian of the seas. He disguises himself as an island
by growing trees on his back :P. He takes Link to the Great
Bay Temple. He knows of just about everything that happens
in his domain: he knows Link's name, even though the two
obviously never met before.
Flat
One of Ikana's Royal Composer Brothers. He was betrayed by
his brother, Sharp, a veeery long time ago, because when
Sharp wanted to try to revive the Ikana Royal Family, Flat
objected. His brother turned him into a poe and locked his
soul in a tomb. He made a song that makes it storm. "The
thousand years of raindrops ary my tears. The thunder that
strikes the earth is my anger!"
Sharp
One of Ikana's Royal Composer Brothers. After the Royal
Family had died, Sharp wanted to revive it. He betrayed his
brother, who thought the dead should be left dead, and cast
a curse upon him.
Dampé
The gravekeeper. Even though there's a huge skeleton next to
his house, he is very scared of ghosts and stuff. If you
talk to him wearing a scary mask, he'll run away in fear.
Skull Keeta
The old captain of Ikana's army, before Ikana kingdom fell
to ruin. This is a huge Stalchild, waiting for the one to
defeat him, so he knows the one who becomes captain after
him is a good swordsman. He's been lying there for quite a
while now...
He guarded the Ikana graveyard, and by blocking the way to
the treasure there, still guards it.
King of Ikana Kingdom
His real name is Igos du Ikana. He is a very good swordsman,
but always has his two bodyguards at his side. He wants the
Kingdom of Ikana restored to its former glory, but he knows
that that can't happen. It turns out that he's really a
honourable person who admits being defeated by Link fair and
square. Like all dead creatures of darkness, his weakness is
light.
Pamela
A young girl living with her father in Ikana Canyon. She's
actually quite smart and behaves like an adult, even though
she does like playing outside.
Pamela's Father
An expert when it comes to ghosts and supernatural stuff.
He is investigating the kingdom of Ikana, which is full of
Gibdos, Garo Robes, living skeletons and ghosts. He
discovered that certain music can destroy Gibdos. He calls
his song "Farewell to Gibdos" and he built an enormous
music box to live in. It needs the river, however, to power
this music box, and the river is dried out.
During recent research, he ventured into Ikana well, where
there are many Gibdo. This trip, however, caused him to
slowly turn into a Gibdo himself as well, so his daughter
keeps him hidden in a closet at all times.
Mask Salesman
A mask salesman :). After Ocarina of Time, he went out in to
the world in search for more masks. He now has a lot of
them. His greating finding is Majora's Mask, but it got
stolen by the Skull Kid. He knows a lot about all sorts of
masks. He even knows how to put one's spirit inside a mask.
If you talk to him while wearing a mask, he'll say something
about it. Strangely enough, he is one of the few people in
Termina that are from Hyrule.
Obviously, the mask salesman is fully aware of the danger
Termina is in, being the only person knowing exactly what
caused it all. That doesn't mean that he gives in to his
despair, however: he whows a stance that characterises him,
as it did (though in a much lesser way) in Ocarina of Time.
He tells Link that even though the odds are against him, he
can retrieve Majora's Mask, as long as he has faith.
Man from Observatory
An old man with an observatory. He owns a Moon's Pearl, but
he's not willing to trade it. He is kind enough to let you
gaze through the telescope, though. Being someone who spends
his time gazing at the moon, the observatory owner knows
that the moon will plummet, and has the realisation that
there's no stopping it. He accepts "what the cosmos has
designed to be the destiny for me and this planet," meaning
he takes it as something that will happen, and he's not
trying to do anything about it: he accepts his fate.
Mutoh
The carpenters' boss. He wants to get the tower that leads
to the clock tower ready for the party. He and his
carpenters hate the people who are fleeing the town. They
don't think the moon is coming down. On the last night,
however, the carpenters flee as well, and Mutoh is left
alone to "celebrate" the carnival. If you then talk to him
as Deku Link, he'll say that he wishes he could scare the
moon away, indicating that he is, after all, afraid of the
moon, and thinks that it will fall. During the three days
and the first two nights, Mutoh is at the Mayor's office,
discussing whether the town should evacuate.
Captain Viscen
Viscen and his guards appears to be about the only ones that
actually care about what happens to the people of Clock Town
if the moon crashes. During the three days, he can be found
in the mayor's office, like Mutoh. Unlike Mutoh, he is
trying to convince the mayor to call off the carnival
and order an evacuation of town, because he believes that
the moon will fall. When the mayor finally decides to let
the carnival go on, Viscen, however, doesn't flee town to
try to save his own life. Instead, he obeys the mayor's
orders and makes sure the town is guarded, despite the fact
that it probably will cost his guards' life, as well as his
own.
Powder Keg Salesman
A Goron in the town bomb shop. He is trying to sell Powder
Kegs for 50 rupees, but there are no Gorons in town, and
only Gorons can carry Powder Kegs. Gorons still need the
Powder Keg Maker's approval.
Town Shooting Gallery Guy
The guy from the Town Shooting Gallery. He's a big, muscular
guy, but he's actually a nice guy.
Road to Swamp-Shooting Gallery Guy
The guy from the Swamp Shooting Gallery. He's a big,
muscular guy, but he's actually a nice guy.
Camera Shop Guy
The big guy from the Camera Shop. He looks all rough, but
he's ashamed of his son, Tingle, because he walks around in
a green outfit and thinks he's a forest fairy. You can show
your pictures to this guy and he'll give you a reward,
depending on what you photographed.
Treasure Chest Shop Lady
The woman behind the counter of the Treasure Chest Shop. The
cost of her game depends on your looks. When you're a Goron,
she thinks you're ugly and it'll cost you 20 rupees, but if
you're a handsome Zora, it'll only cost you 5 rupees.
Bank Lady/Mister
The Clock Town Bank lady/mister. She/he puts a stamp on your
forehead the first time you put money on the bank. He/she..
It'll remember you as the little guy, even when you're a
Goron...
Serving his function until the end, it remains in its post,
not caring about the moon. But if you talk to him on the
Final night, he does ask "you need somethin' on a day like
this? You haven't evacuated yet?" indicating he is actually
a bit worried about you. But not so worried that he's giving
up his financial situation, because if you withdraw some
rupees, he actually says that if you're withdrawing rupees
because of the bad rumours, (supposedly rumours about how
the moon is going to fall,) that you shouldn't believe the
rumours.
Part-time Trading Post Person
This guy's cool... He doesn't really know what he's selling,
and he doesn't really care. When the normal Trading Post
salesman is off to the Curiosity Shop, this guy steps in for
him. During the day, this guy's climbing trees searching for
rupees. He's in a tree right next to the observatory, but
you can't see any rupees. You can see the rupees by going to
the observatory, looking through the telescope, and looking
all the way left.
You can knock him down from the tree by rolling into it.
Just don't steal his Rupees. Wait... Go ahead, steal his
Rupees.
Scarecrow
A scarecrow... If you talk to him, he'll ask you to dance.
If you dance, this part of the day ends. That is, if it's
the first day, it'll become the first night. If it's the
first night, it'll be the second day. He also tells you of a
mysterious song you can play backward to slow down time, or
play every note twice to advance in time. He means the Song
of Time. You can also play a song on your instrument for
this guy. If you do and you play it in certain places,
this guy pops up, to be used as a hookshot target. Really,
that's all he does: present a target.
Bomb Salesman
The bald guy who sells bombs in the Town Bomb Shop. He's
waiting for new bomb bags to arrive, but they're late.
Swordsman
This is the guy from the Swordman's School. He thinks he's
the best swordsman ever, but we know better. He gives you a
reward if you chop every one of his logs with the jump
attack. A PIECE OF HEART!!! The first three days, he seems
unafraid of the moon. If you talk to him on the first or
second day, he'll even comment on the moon frightening
people, and that becoming a true swordsman will help you
overcome fear. On the third day, he'll say that he will be
open until the evening, because he'll go out to cut the moon
in pieces to eliminate the threat. Of course, we know that's
not going to happen. Indeed, when you go to him on the third
day, you'll be greeted by a sign saying that the swordsman
is on vacation, and that nobody should look for him. One
might think that the brave swordsman has actually fled town.
If you then walk onto the platform he is usually sitting on,
and slash the banner on the back, you'll discover a hidden
room, with the swordsman trembling in a corner. Upon talking
to him, you learn that he is actually very afraid, and
doesn't want to die.
Mr. Barten
The barkeeper of Latte Milk Bar... He's waiting for the
arrival of some more milk, as the road to Romani Ranch has
been sealed by a large rock. He sells two kinds of milk;
normal milk, which heals 5 hearts per gulp, and has two
gulps. This milk costs 50 rupees. Then there's Chateau
Romani, which gives you infinite magic, and costs 200 rupees.
To put it in his own words, he's "the sort of fellow who'll
stay at his business through thick and thin." Even though he
knows he's in danger, he's staying at his bar, hoping to see
some of his favourite customers. Assuming he knows he'll die,
it seems he is more content with dying among pleasant people
than being alive.
Sakon
The thief that stole Kafei's mask and the new bomb bags. He
has a hideout just below Ikana Village.
Scary Red Eyed Cyclops Guy
This isn't really a cyclops, it's just that he has one big
red eye. He appears in three places: he sits on the ledge
far above the road just outside Ikana Canyon, he's waiting
in the cave that contains the Ikana river's source (below
Ikana Village), and he's in one of the houses in Ikana
Canyon, "selling battles" with poes. Creepy though he may
be, he does seem to want to have a certain bond with the
monsters he "keeps": he helps some monsters that want to
meet Link again, to do battle once more. After you defeat
his monsters, he is happy that you've healed their souls,
upon which he vanishes.
Lunar Kids
The five kids on the field in the moon. The four who are
running around the hill are wearing the four bosses' masks,
and want to play hide 'n' seek. The last one, who sits under
the tree wearing Majora's Mask, brings you to the final
battle. These kids bear an uncanny resemblance to the Mask
Salesman. One of them even asks if Link is going to be a
Mask Salesman as well. It's possible that the kid wearing
Majora's Mask is actually the impersonation of Majora's
Mask. When he proposed to Link to play good guys versus bad
guys, he says he himself will be the good guy, and Link
(or the Fierce Deity) is the bad guy.
Fierce Deity
Although he doesn't play a role in the entire story, he does
form an interesting character. He's what you turn into if
you put on the Fierce Deity Mask, most secret of all the
masks in the game.
There are only a few things known about the Fierce Deity.
Even his name is unknown. What we do know is that he is an
ancient being with enormous combat abilities, locked in a
mask. Despite being Link's most powerful item by far, it is
of a very dark and evil nature. The game text seems to imply
that the Fierce Deity is more evil than even Majora's Mask.
When the Lunar kid wearing Majora's Mask gives you the
Fierce Deity Mask, he even says that you're going to play
"good guys versus bad guys," and that Majora's Mask is
actually the good guy, and you (Fierce Deity) are the bad
guy. One can only wonder how Majora's Mask gained the Fierce
Deity Mask.
Link
This is actually not you. He's a Goron who coincidentally
has the same name as you. He's NOT the Goron from Ocarina of
Time, because that Goron was born in the seven years you
skipped. He's a tourist, and he made a reservation at the
Inn.. Under the name of... LINK!!! He's got a huge backpack,
and tends to say "goro" a lot.
Gampy
The fat lady from the Stock Pot Inn. She's Anju's mother,
but not the daughter of Anju's grandmother. She stands
behind the counter on the Final Day, and she also appears in
Romani Ranch on the final night. If you talk to her while
wearing Kafei's Mask, she'll say that she hates that mask.
This makes me think she doesn't want Anju to marry Kafei.
If you get the key to the Knight's Chamber in the Stock Pot
Inn, and listen at the broken wall after 21:30 on the second
day, you'll hear her say stuff that many people take to mean
that Cremia is in love with Kafei. I, however, take it to
mean that Gampy dislikes Kafei so much, that she tries to
convince Anju that Kafei is in a relationship with Cremia.
This idea is strengthened by what Cremia says if you're
wearing Kafei's Mask: "Did some middle-aged woman put you to
work? Kafei isn't here..." while looking sad. She's aware of
Gampy's plot.
If you didn't get Anju's letter during the first night,
Gampy will also be behind the counter on the second day.
Mamamu Yan
The lady from Mamamu Yan's Doggy Racetrack. She's quite
fat... Not much to say about her, really... She doesn't have
any function in the game except for easy money and a Piece
of Heart.
Kaepora Gaebora
The owl that helps you in your quest. Although you rarely
see him, he is fully aware of all the trouble in Termina,
and he does confer an important message: like the Mask
Salesman, he tells you to keep faith, and stay determined,
you'll fulfill your quest.
Bombers
Bombers' Notebook description: Secret Society of Justice
Helping people 24 hours a day
My description: A bunch of annoying kids. There are seven of
them. Five real members, one guarding the observatory and,
of course, Link!!! If you pop Jim's balloon in North
Clocktown (Jim is the Bomber leader), he'll challenge you to
a game of hide 'n' seek. If you find the last one as a
human, you'll become a bomber yourself. They're actually a
Secret Society of Justice, but don't tell anyone... Jim must
really suck at using the blowpipe, 'cause he can't even pop
a balloon in three days' time...
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any time, any day: Play Hide-and-Seek with the Bombers to
get the code that allows you to go to the observatory.
Any time, any day: Play Hide-and-Seek with the Bombers to
get the Bombers' Notebook.
Anju
Bombers' Notebook description: Stock Pot Inn's Innkeeper, A
courteous woman
My description: Well, pretty much the same... She doesn't
know how to cook very well... She's also a bit careless
and mixes up guests quite frequently.
Kafei is her fiancé, and she will go through a great deal
to see him again. When you successfully complete the entire
Anju/Kafei sidequest, they'll face their end together, not
afraid now that they are together again.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1, 13:50-16:10: Talk to Anju to get the jey to the Knife
Chamber. It was actually the Goron Link's reservation.
Day 1, 14:15-21:03: Talk to Anju while wearing Kafei's Mask.
She'll tell you to come to the kitchen at 23:30.
Day 1, 00:00-05:59: Talk to Anju in the Inn kitchen. You'll
promise to meet Kafei.
Day 1, 00:00-05:59: Talk to Anju in the Inn kitchen. You'll
promise to deposit a letter in a mailbox.
Day 2, 16:09-21:05: Give Anju the Pendant of Memories.
Day 3, 06:00-12:00: Give Anju the Pendant of Memories.
Day 3, 04:30: Go to the Employees Only room in the Stock Pot
Inn to get the Couple's Mask.
Kafei
Bombers' Notebook description: Strange youth seen near
Laundry Pool
My description: He used to be a man, Anju's fiancé, but
the Skull Kid turned Kafei into a young boy, and to make
matters worse, some thief (Sakon) stole his engagement mask
(yeah... weird) while he was going to the Great Fairy. He
then was so ashamed of himself that he went into hiding and
started wearing the Keaton Mask to hide his face. He lives
in the house by the laundry pool, and there is a little hole
in the wall between his house and the Curiosity shop, so he
can see when his stolen mask gets there...
When he and Anju are finally together again, they can face
their death without despair, telling Link to flee town.
Kafei is the son of mayor Dotour and Madame Aroma, and still
lives with them. You can read his diary in the back room of
Madame Aroma's "office". Kafei was a member of the Bombers
when he was young.
When you successfully complete the entire Anju/Kafei
sidequest, they'll face their end together, not afraid now
that they are together again.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 2, 16:09-22:00: Enter Kafei's "hideout" at 15:15 and
wait for Kafei to enter. Talk to him to get the Pendant of
Memories.
Day 3, 19:00: In Sakon's Hideout, help Kafei recover the
stolen mask.
Day 3, 04:30: Go to the Employees Only room in the Stock Pot
Inn to get the Couple's Mask.
Man from Curiosity Shop
Bombers' Notebook description: Buys and sells stolen goods.
Open at night only.
My description: The fishing-pond man from OoT! He's not only
the curiosity shop's owner, but also the owner of the
Trading Post. He's also one of Kafei's old friends. I don't
like this guy... :) He doesn’t really like masks...
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 3, 13:00-22:00: In Kafei's House, talk to the Curiosity
Shop's owner. He'll give you the Keaton Mask.
Day 3, 13:00-22:00: In Kafei's House, talk to the Curiosity
Shop's owner. He'll give you the Letter to Mama, and you
promise to deliver it.
Day 3, 22:00-05:59: Buy the All-Night Mask from the
Curiosity Shop.
Old Lady from Bomb Shop
Bombers' Notebook description: Runs town Bomb Shop. Always
open.
My description: An old lady who goes around at night
collecting Dodongo's stomachs to make bomb bags. On the
first night, approximately at midnight, she gets robbed.
Help her!!! Her son keeps calling her "Mommy".
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1, 00:00: Slash Sakon after he steals the bag in North
Clock Town to get the Blast Mask.
Romani
Bombers' Notebook description: Young girl living at ranch
with sister
My description: A cute little girl living at Romani Ranch
with her sister Cremia. She knows that, each carnival of
time, ghosts will come to steal the cows, so she's
practising her bow to scare off the ghosts. If you don't
help her get rid of the ghosts, she'll get kidnapped by
them for the entirety of day 2, and her memory will get
wiped: on the Final Day, she won't remember what she's
practicing for. She likes referring to herself in third
person, and to Link as "grasshopper".
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1, 06:00-18:00: Promise Romani to help her get rid of
the ghosts that night.
Day 1, 05:00: If you protected the barn, you did this event.
Day 1, 05:00: You get a Bottle of Milk for helping Romani.
Cremia
Bombers' Notebook description: Manager of Romani Ranch. Milk
is her specialty. (Don't say it...)
My description: Romani's older sister, and, because of their
parents' death also a bit of a mother-figure to Romani.
She doesn't believe Romani about the ghosts. If you save the
cows, her opinion will not change, 'cause she won't see the
ghosts. If you DON'T save the cows, she'll admit Romani's
right, but it's too late... If you save the cows, she'll
ride to town next evening to deliver some milk. There,
she'll learn that the moon is going to fall. Rather than
panic, she accepts her fate, and decides not to tell Romani,
who is the person she cares most about. She doesn't want
Romani to worry. However, she does try to make Romani's last
day a good one: she allows her to drink Chateau Romani,
which she hasn't allowed because it's an adult-only drink.
She also asks Romani to sleep in her bed with her tonight.
Apparently, she wants to die so close to her younger sister.
AWWWWWW
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 2, 18:00-21:00: Get in the cart at Romani Ranch. Now
save the milk from the bandits by shooting the bandits with
arrows.
Day 2, 18:00-21:00: You get Romani's Mask for helping Cremia
delivering her milk...
Mr. Dotour
Bombers' Notebook description: Mayor of Clock Town. V.I.P.
My description: Kafei's father. Has purple hair just like
Kafei. I feel pity for this guy: he's married to the fattest
woman from the entire Zelda series. He is having a three day
discussion in his office about whether or not he should
evacuate town because of the moon. Even though he is the
mayor, he's not very decisive, and is only persuaded by
Mutoh to let the carnival continue when Mutoh brings the
mayor's wife into the discussion.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any Day, 10:00-18:00, day 1 and 2 also 18:00-20:00: Talk to
the mayor while wearing the Couple's Mask. He'll give you a
Piece of Heart.
Madame Aroma
Bombers' Notebook description: The Mayor's Wife. In charge
of town performances
My description: She is FAT!!! And Kafei's mother. She is
quite desperate because her son is missing, and she wants
YOU to find him.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 10:00-20:00: Talk to Madame Aroma for Kafei's
Mask.
Day 3, 18:00-05:59: Give the Letter to Mama to Madame Aroma
in the Milk Bar.
Toto
Bombers' Notebook description: Famed manager of The Indigo-
Go's
My description: Just some fat Zora. During the first two
days, he's in Madame Aroma's office conversating with her
about the Indogo-Go's' performance, which has to be
cancelled due to all the trouble in Zora Cape and Clock
Town. During the first two nights, he's at Café Latte,
drinking away his problems... (With milk... How
pathetic...) Being the Indigo-Go's' manager, he, unlike
every other character in the game except for the Happy Mask
Salesman, is able to discern Zora Link from Mikau, saying
that they are very much alike.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 22:00-05:59: Play Toto's music as Normal, Deku,
Goron and Zora Link to get the Circus Leader's Mask.
Gorman
Bombers' Notebook description: Leader of a traveling troupe.
Has fine clothes, but a frightful face
My description: If it ain't Ingo from OoT. This time, he's
trying to get a show for his amusement troupe. He's not a
nice person, but hey, better than Ingo! He came from the
farmland, but because he liked the song "Ballad of the Wind
Fish" so much, he went into showbizz. He is secretly jealous
of his older brother, who was a very good at handling
horses, and his younger brother, who was good at caring for
horses. Despite his apparent harsh personality, he does have
a soft side. If you play the full Ballad of the Wind Fish
for him during the first night, you can see him in his room
in the Stock Pot Inn during the Night of the Final Day,
playing cards with the juggler twins. He'll tell you that,
if you're fleeing town, you could go to his brothers' ranch,
because his brother's a "nice guy".
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 22:00-05:59: Play Toto's music as Normal, Deku,
Goron and Zora Link to get the Circus Leader's Mask.
Postman
Bombers' Notebook description: town's postal carrier. A very
serious public servant.
My description: He'll do anything to get the mail delivered
on time, but lately, nobody's using the mail anymore. He
stays in town to do his duty, even though the moon is coming
down, and he desperately wants to leave, as he writes in a
letter to himself. The only thing for which he'll not keep
to his schedule, is when he gets priority mail.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 16:00-00:00: Play the time-guessing game in the
Post Office and win for a Piece of Heart.
Day 1, 00:00-05:59 or Day 2, 06:00-12:00: Put the Letter to
Kafei in a mailbox.
Day 3, 18:00-05:59: Give the postman the Letter to Mama and
follow him to the Milk Bar. When he comes out, he'll give
you the Postman's Hat.
Rosa Sisters
Bombers' Notebook description: Twin dancers. Members of the
Gorman Troupe
My description: Twins. They can't think of a new dance, but
their old one isn't good enough. They practise in East Clock
Town during the first two nights. They are called Judo and
Marilla.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 18:00-05:59: Wear Kamaro's Mask and dance for
them in West Clock Town for a Piece of Heart.
???
Bombers' Notebook description: (Person living in the Inn's
restroom) Details are unknown.
My description: This is no person, it's a hand that can
talk. It lives in the restroom at the Inn, and he is in need
of paper. I suggest he likes paper for food. He only appears
from 00:00 'til 06:00. If you then give him some paper, he
gives you a piece of heart.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any day, 00:00-05:59: Give the hand in the Inn's restroom
some paper for a Piece of Heart.
Anju's Grandmother
Bombers' Notebook description: Storyteller and grandmother
at inn
My description: Well, that's practically it. She has two
stories to tell, but you'll fall asleep listening to them.
She also thinks you're her son (Anju's father), Tortus. She
doesn't like Anju's meals AT ALL. Reading her diary,
however, we learn that she is actually not that senile, and
merely pretends to be, to escape from Anju's bad cooking.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 08:00-18:00: Listen to her story, Carnival of
Time, while wearing the All-Night Mask, and answer her
question correctly. You'll get a Piece of Heart.
Day 1 or 2, 08:00-18:00: Listen to her story, Four Giants,
while wearing the All-Night Mask, and answer her question
with "I dunno". You'll get a Piece of Heart.
Kamaro
Bombers' Notebook description: Ghost of a charismatic
dancer. Enjoys moonlight.
My description: This is the ghost of a dancer who died in
Termina Field. He dances on one of the mushroom-like things
on northeast Termina Field. He can teach you his dance.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any day, 00:00-05:59: Play the Song of Healing for him in
North Termina Field for Kamaro's Mask.
Grog
Bombers' Notebook description: Cucco Shack's breeder. His
crest is frightful.
My description: He lives at Romani Ranch. He has but one
wish in life, and that is to see his little chicks turn into
Cuccos.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any day, 06:00-20:00: Gather all the chicks with the Bremen
Mask and wait for them all to grow to get the Bunny Hood.
Gorman Brothers
Bombers' Notebook description: Horse trainers. Suspicious...
My description: They and Gorman are brothers. They do all
sorts of not-so-very-nice stuff, like selling milk that's
been watered down, steeling milk from Cremia and blocking
Milk Road. They are actually quite proud of their middle
brother, Gorman, who is struggling in showbusiness while
they remain at the ranch.
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any day, 06:00-18:00: Defeat them at a race to get the
Garo's Mask.
Day 2, 18:00-21:00: Get in the cart at Romani Ranch. Now
save the milk from the bandits by shooting the bandits with
arrows.
Shiro
Bombers' Notebook description: The inconspicious soldier. He
really doesn't stand out.
My description: He stands out so little, that he's
invisible. You need the lens of truth to see him. He needs
energy so he can start moving again, so he'll stand out a
bit more...
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Any day, any time: Use the Lens of Truth to see Shiro in the
Road to Ikana Canyon. Give him a Red Potion for the Stone
Mask.
Guru-Guru
Bombers' Notebook description: Musician in the Gorman Troupe
My description: A scary guy sitting at the laundry pool all
night and in the inn during the day. He was once part of an
animal group, but he stole the leader's mask, which had the
ability to boss around over animals...
Bomber's Notebook Events:
Day 1 or 2, 18:00-05:59: Talk to Guru-Guru for the Bremen
Mask.
() ================================================== ()
/##\ ----- VIII) Groups/Tribes ----- /##\
|| ================================================== ||
Humans
One of the peoples of Termina. They have pointy ears and
never agree with eachother.
Gorman Travelling Group
Five entertainers lead by Gorman. There are two twins in
this group, the Rosa sisters, and the juggler twins. The
last person from their group, Guru-Guru, is quite the animal
guy. He also has a music box playing the Song of Storms.
Deku
The Deku are a people made out of wood and leaves. They have
a king. They come in various sorts, like the Business Scrub,
or the Wild Scrub.
Gorons
A people that look like stones. They only eat stones!!! :)
They can roll up and roll off, and they even have races for
this. They are used to cold, but lately, it's been too cold
even for them.
Zora
A combination of human and fish, so they can swim really
fast. They have a band, The Indigo-Go's, which is very
popular among all races.
The Indigo-Go's
The big and popular Zora band. They are: Lulu, the singer,
Mikau, the Guitarist, Tijo, the drummer, Japas, who plays
the bass, and Evan, who is the bandleader and plays the
piano. This is actually the second generation of Indigo-
Go's. Among the first generation was Lulu's mother, who was
also called Lulu. They had a very big hit with their "Ballad
of the Wind Fish".
Four Giants
Long ago, the four giants lived among the people of Termina.
They chose to guard the people while they sleep. They went
away, 100 steps north, south, east and west. One of their
best friends was so saddened, that he started wreaking
havoc. The guardians had no choice but to send him away from
the four worlds they lived in.
Beavers
Two beavers living at the waterfall at Great Bay. If you
race the younger one (the orange one), and win, you can race
the older one (who is yellow). If you beat them both, you
get a bottle. Beat them again (it will be harder this time)
and you'll get a Piece of Heart. The younger one uses his
tail as a propeller, and the older one uses his feet to
swim.
Deku Playground Deku
These two Deku run the Deku Playground. They give
instructions on how to play, but are actually a pain-in-the-
ass. They don't like Deku who are better at their game than
they themselves are.
Twinrova
Witch twins. Even though they were Link's enemies in Ocarina
of Time, they've become nice persons since then. Koume, the
red one, went to the woods to search for some Magic
Mushrooms, but she got ambushed by the Skull Kid and she's
just lying there in pain right now. She's also the Swamp
Tour guide. Kotake, the blue one, owns the Magic Hag's
Potion Shop. When she hears about Koume lying in the woods,
she either sends Link out to help her, but if Link hasn't
shown up on the second day, she goes to look for Koume
herself. Both Kotake and Koume are Magic hags, and they both
have flying broomsticks.
Monkeys
A bunch of Little Monkeys from the swamp. One of them has
been captured by the Deku, but they don't know how to get
him out. Their English is quite... Sucky. The monkey was
caught affter he'd been seen going into Woodfall Temple with
the Deku Princess, and only coming out alone. The Deku King
rashly thought that the monkey had kidnapped his daughter,
and ordered for his capture, followed by a cruel punishment.
Honey & Darling
The owners of Honey & Darling's shop. The man is Darling,
and the woman is Honey. They like dancing, but all they do
is standing there holding eachother. Guess they like
eachother more than their customers.
Carpenters
There are three normal carpenters in town, of which two are
building a tower in South Clock Town. The third one is with
Mutoh in the mayor's office. There's also an apprentice, but
all he's interested in is the moon.
The carpenters, like their leader Mutoh, tend to think that
the moon isn't going to fall. One of them can even be found
in front of a Clock Town Guard recruitment poster, shouting
that he'll stay with his parents in Clock Town (even though
we don't actually get to see said parents). But during the
Final Day, all of them will flee town unseen. Apparently,
in the end, they got scared of the huge moon above as well.
Town Guards
Six in total. Four of them are by the four Town gates. They
don't let kids go outside town. Another one of them is with
Captain Viscen in the Mayor's office. The last one, Shiro
(see chapter 7, "Characters"), isn't really a town guard,
but he IS a soldier.
The four guards guarding Clock Town's exits are genuinely
worried about the townsfolk, and Link as well. If you talk
to them during the final night, they'll tell you to get as
far away from town as you can. They themselves will be
gazing up at the sky with a hand to their chest, facing
their doom, but courageously enough not fleeing town: they
want to help the citizens, but because no evacuation order
has been given, they can't force anyone to leave.
Juggler Twins
Two entertainers from the Gorman travelling Group. During
the day, they're juggling in East Clock Town. At night,
they're in the Inn, playing cards. The jugglers know of
the trouble in Termina. However, that doesn't keep them
from being cheerful. In fact, they make jokes about the
bad conditions, not out of disrespect, but because they
know that being sad about a problem doesn't solve it.
"You see, we're entertainers. We must keep people smiling.
No matter how grim things get, we must always be
optimistic!" Despite that, they are still members of the
Gorman group of entertainers, so when Gorman decides to
leave town, they disappear as well.

1) Clock Town
The main town in Termina. There's a big clock tower in the
center of town, hence the name "Clock Town". For a map, see
chapter 9, "places to be in town". Once a year, the Festival
of Time is held here, and guess when the next one is up?
That's right: at the exact same time as the estimated time
of the moon's arrival to Clock Town.
2) Termina Field
A great field surrounding Clock town. The four areas of the
field (north, south, east, and west) show similarities to
the area that lies in their extent. For example, the land
to the east of Clock Town is dead and barren, like the land
of Ikana that lies east of Termina Field.
Also, some of the holes in the ground seem to be accompanied
by an invisible dancing guy that can only be seen by looking
through the Observatory's telescope.

It's a big circular mountain in the middle of the Southern
Swamp filled with poisonous water. There are two trees in
the center of it. If you play the Sonata of Awakening on the
Deku sign, a temple emerges from the water, the Woodfall
Temple.

There are lots of boulders of snow in here, of which some
you must break with bombs to continue. Mind that there may

Not really a village, as it only has one house in it, the
Smithy. There are two ways to Darmani's grave: an invisible
labyrinth of ladders on the wall, and a tunnel, which can't
be used because of two piles of snow blocking both exits. In
spring, the snow disappears and you can use the tunnel and
several stuff appear: a Giant Bee near the flowers, the
invisible ladders become visible, a Gossip Stone and a bunch
of jumping bushes.

This is like a mountain lake, but it's frozen. Because it's
frozen, you can't get to the two Treasure chests, which are
both under water (so you'll need to make it spring and also
have the Zora Mask to get them). When the lake is frozen,
there are lots of snow boulders on it. One of them is bigger
than the others and has the Goron Elder in it, frozen over.
There's also a Hot Spring Water spring in a hole in the
ground, but it's blocked by a chunk of ice.

the Goron Shrine, talk to the gatekeeper or perform a pound

The road leading from the Mountain Village to Snowhead. Only
Gorons can get there, because you need to roll over the gaps
while you are besieged by snow boulders rolling here and
there. To get to the Piece of Heart, you must jump the first
gap and use the Lens of Truth to see some blocks. Jump on
them. Now you must play the Scarecrow's song and use the

13) Snowhead
Recently, a blizzard has started blowing from Snowhead. To
see the source of it, you must have the Lens of Truth.
You'll see that Biggoron is sitting in front of Snowhead,
breathing very hard. In spring, Biggoron is sitting on a
"rock island".

---Shops and Houses---
1) Clock Tower Basement
This is the place where you meet the Mask Salesman at the
start of the game. Note that because you get here before you
learn about the "three days", time is stopped when you're
here.
2) Kafei's House
This is actually the house of the Curiosity Shop owner.
There is a secret hole in the wall hidden behind a little
stone head so Kafei can see what is being sold at the
Curiosity shop.
3) Curiosity Shop
A shop that buys and sells goods that are usually stolen
goods. It opens at 22:00 and stays open for the rest of the
night. The shop is filled with lots of strange stuff,
like... An Iron Knuckle behind the counter... Eww...
4) Trading Post
The town's "super market". Its owner happens to be the
Curiosity Shop's owner. It's closed from 21:00 til 22:00 so
the owner can leave for the Curiosity shop and the part-time
guy comes to stand behind the counter, but apart from that,
it's opened all the time, except for if the part-time guy
flees... Eh... The Trading Post also has a scarecrow inside.
You can buy the folowing stuff in here:
A Red Potion for 30 Rupees
A Green Potion for 30 Rupees
A Hero's Shield for 80 Rupees
A Fairy for 50 Rupees
A Deku Stick for 10 Rupees
10 Deku Nuts for 30 Rupees
30 Arrows for 30 Rupees
50 Arrows for 40 Rupees
5) Bomb Shop
The name kinda says it all... Well, not ALL of it... This
shop IS opened for 24 hours per day. The owners are the guy
behind the counter and his mother. There is also a Goron in
here trying to sell Powder Kegs. You can buy the following
from the guy here:
10 Bombs for 30 Rupees
10 Bombchu for 40 Rupees
A Bomb Bag for 50 Rupees
A Big Bomb Bag for 90 Rupees
6) Clock Town Bank
One of the most useful places in town. You give this guy
money and you can take it back later. If you save 500
Rupees, you get an adult wallet, and there are other prizes
as well. If you save 5000 or more, you can't put in more, so
the max is 5499 Rupees (when having 4999, put in another
500). You get a bonus for saving 5000 Rupees... Guess
what... A Piece of Heart!
7) Lottery Shop
You can buy a lottery ticket for 10 Rupees during the day.
During the night, you can see whether you won or not.
Chances are 1/1000 that you'll actually win... The trick is
to know the winning number. "Huh?" I hear you think. So
would I if hadn't told me. During the day, buy a ticket.
The same night, go back to not get the prize, but you
will know the winning number. Go back in time and on the
same day, play the lottery with the numbers you got before
travelling back in time. Come back the same night and
get your prize... 50 Rupees... Remember that you should use
the correct number on the SAME day. The winning number from
day 1 won't help you on day 2...
8) Swordman's School
The swordman teaching here tells you of most sword
techniques in his novice training. In the expert training,
you have to chop ten logs using the jump attack. If you
succeed, you get a Piece of Heart. This place is opened 24
hours a day.
9) Post Office
Both the living place and working place of the Postman. It
opens up at 9:00 in the morning, but you can't get in then,
because the Postman will then come out and you can't get in
until he's back. You can enter once he's back, but at 15:00,
the place closes.
10) Fairy's Fountain
Usually, the Great Fairy lives here, but a short time ago,
she was split in pieces by the Skull Kid. To get her back to
normal, you have to find the last Stray Fairy in Clock Town
and take it to this Fairy Fountain. She then gives you a
magic ability, and if you're normal Link, she also gives you
the Great Fairy's Mask.
11) Mayor's Residence
This is the place where the Mayor and his wife live. The
annoying woman behind the counter tells you that the Mayor's
Office is to the left and the Mayor's wife's room to the
right. In the Mayor's Office, Mr. Detour, Mutoh, a
carpenter, Captain Viscen and a guard are having an argument
about whether town should be evacuated. In Madame Aroma's
room, she and Toto are talking about the Indigo-Go's' show.
Next to Madame Aroma's room is Kafei's room. The only thing
to do here is reading Kafei's diary.
12) Stock Pot Inn
This place used to be a restaurant, but since its owner
(Anju's father) died, Anju is running the place, but because
she can't cook that well, she made it an inn. Anju's
grandmother also lives here.
13) Latte Milk Bar
Well... It's a Milk Bar... You can get in from 18:00, but
it's not officially opened, so you can't buy a drink. At
21:00, the manager throws you out. You can get back in at
22:00, but you do need a Romani's Mask. You can now buy
normal milk for 20 Rupees, or Chateau Romani for 200 Rupees.
This usually is the place to drink away your problems.
14) Treasure Chest Shop
This entire shop is one big treasure chest. Inside, talk to
the woman behind the counter. Depending on how cute/handsome
you are, the price varies. Deku Link pays 10 Rupees, Goron
Link pays 20, Zora Link pays 5 and normal Link pays 15
Rupees. The goal is to reach the treasure chest that
appears. The thing that makes this hard is that the tiles in
the floor can rise and block your way. If you get there,
open the chest to get 50 Rupees. If you play as a Goron,
however, you get a Piece of Heart.
15) Honey & Darling's Shop
This is a game shop. The game you play depends on what day
it is. On the first day, it's bombchu bowling. You have to
hit all the targets on the wall within a limited time
without falling off the platform. On the second day, you can
play basket bomb, in which you have to throw a bomb in each
of the baskets on the wall within a limited time and without
falling off the platform. On the Final Day, it's a target
practise, in which you have to shoot all the targets on the
wall with your bow and arrows... Within a limited time and
without falling off
the platform, that is...
16) Town Shooting Gallery
For 20 Rupees, you get to enter the Target Practise here.
You have unlimited arrows but limited time to play. You have
to shoot the purple Octorocs to get a point, but when you
hit a blue octoroc, you lose some valuable time. The record
currently stands at 39 points, but if you break it, you get
a larger quiver or, if you already have that, 50 Rupees.
This means that you should always break the record by just
one, so it'll be less hard to break the new record. If you
score a full 50 points, you get a Piece of Heart.
17) Sewer, leading to Observatory
That's kinda it. It's a passageway with water everywhere. Be
careful not to get hit by the Skulltula hanging at the
ceiling.
18) Deku Scrub Playground
This game can only be played when you're a Deku. It costs
but 10 Rupees and varies throughout the three days. The goal
is to get all the Rupees on the platforms without touching
the ground. If you win, you get 50 Rupees. If you win three
days in a row, you get a Piece of Heart.
---Other Strange Stuff---
* Mailbox
You can put letters in this and they'll be delivered the
following afternoon. If you've got the Postman's Hat, you
can look in them, but you can't get letters out of them,
just a Piece of Heart and lots of single Rupees.
# Change of Scene
That means just a connection between two parts of Town,
nothing really... Why did I put it in here?
+ Festival Tower
This is what the carpenters are building. It's supposed to
become a four story-high tower with a bridge to the entrance
to the Clock Tower roof. On the third day, there's a
treasure chest on top.
% Frog
One of the frogs of the frog choir. Talk to him while
wearing the Don-Gero's Mask and he'll go off to the Mountain
Village. You can push this frog in the water, where he'll
still be jumping up and down.
> < ^ V Town Exits
The four exits out of Clock Town, all leading to Termina
Field. There is a town guard in front of every exit.
$ Treasure chest
These contain MONEY!!! You can get to the two in South Clock
Town (one of them appears only on the third day) with the
Hookshot. You can get to the one on the roof of the Shooting
Gallery in West Clock Town from the roof of Latte Milk Bar.

|[] |---- XI) Other Shops and Houses ----|[] |
|____|================================================|____|
Swamp Shooting Gallery
This isn't really in the Swamp, but in the Road to Southern
Swamp. It costs 20 Rupees to play. If you get 1500 points,
you get a bigger Quiver, allowing you to carry 10 more
arrows than you used to. If you get 2000 points or more, you
get a Piece of Heart. If you run out of Rupees, exit the
shop and cut the bushes of the ledge left of the door.
Swamp Tourist Center
There are several things you can do here. You can show
photographs to the big guy and he might give you a prize. If
you've rescued Koume from the woods and the Swamp is
poisonous, you can get a boat cruise for 10 Rupees and
you'll get a free camera. If you've rescued Koume from the
woods and the Swamp is cleared up, you can play a target
practice: hit the target below Koume 20 times for a Piece of
Heart, but DON'T hit Koume herself more than 9 times,
because the game will end.
Magic Hags' Potion Shop
You can buy Red, Green and Blue Potions here. Red costs 20
Rupees, Green 10 and Blue 60, but to get a Blue Potion, you
need to give Kotake a Magic Mushroom first.
Mountain Smithy
These guys can upgrade your Kokiri Sword to a Razor Sword
for 100 Rupees, but it will also cost a whole night. You can
get it back in the morning. They can also upgrade your Razor
Sword to a Gilded Sword, but this will cost you some Gold
Dust and another night. Their furnace is frozen in the
winter, so you'll have to defeat Goht before visiting them
anyway.
Goron Shrine Shop
A shop in the bottom of Goron Shrine. They sell 10 Bombs or
Arrows for 40 Rupees, and a Red Potion for 80 Rupees. The
shop is located right next to an underground river. Because
of the cold, supplies are low, so if you make it spring,
prizes drop enormously: 10 Bombs for 10 Rupees, 10 Arrows
for 20 Rupees and the Red Potion costs 50 Rupees.
Powder Keg Shop
This is a shop at the back of Goron Village. There's a big
Goron inside selling Powder Kegs for 100 Rupees, but he'll
only sell them to Gorons with a license. Hey, that's
fortunate, this guy also gives away licenses. All you have
to do is blow up the boulder that's blocking the entrance to
the Goron Racetrack in the Road to Goron Village.
Romani's Target Practice
Talk to Romani in Romani Ranch during the day and play this
game. The goal is to ride around the ranch and shoot all ten
balloons as fast as possible. If you get below a minute, and
it's the first day, you get Epona. My current record is
39.36 seconds. Try and beat that! DON'T E-MAIL ME YOUR
PERSONAL RECORDS. Not only do I not want to know, but it
also makes me feel like you're better than me when you're
NOT! :)
Mamamu Yan's Doggy Racetrack
This is a racetrack for dogs. You can bet 10 to 90 Rupees on
a dog. If it comes in first, you get triple the amount you
set in, if it comes in second, you get double your wage, and
if it comes it third through fifth, you get back your wage.
To stand a chance, put on the Mask of Truth and pick up some
dogs to read their minds. If one of them "knows" he'll win,
take that one. If you win over 150 Rupees in one go, you get
a Piece of Heart.
Cucco Shack
This place in Romani Ranch has the sole purpose of giving
you the Bunny Hood. Put on the Bremen Mask and march around
while touching all ten chicks in here. If you've got them
all, they'll turn into adults and Grog, the guy sitting
against the tree, gives you the Bunny Hood.
Fisherman's Hut
This is the house of the fisherman. He keeps a sea horse in
a tank in here, which he'll trade for a picture of one of
the Pirates. The sea horse takes you to Pinnacle Rock,
where, if you kill one of the bottom snakes, there is
another one. They'll be so happy you brought them together,
you get a Piece of Heart.
Marine Research Lab
This is where the Marine Biologist lives and works. The
place is much larger on the inside than on the outside.
There's a big aquarium in here for the Zora eggs and a
smaller one in which are two fish. Feed them lots of fish
and they'll burp out a Piece of Heart.
Zora Hall Shop
The shop at Zora Hall. They sell a Hero's Shield for 90
Rupees, 10 arrows for 20, and a Red Potion for 60. Seen that
everything here can be found elsewhere for less money, I
would advise against shopping here.
Great Bay Pot Shooting Game
Not really a shop or a house, but this is MY guide, so I get
to decide what to put in it, so here it is. If you can break
all the pots in one attack you get 100 Rupees. Every time
you destroy one or more pots, you have to pay 10 Rupees, so
the prize actually is 90 Rupees. If you don't HAVE 10
Rupees, they just take all Rupees you do have. There are two
ways of succesfully playing this game: put a Powder Keg at
the base of the middle pot or practice a lot with your
fin-shooting.
Fisherman's Game
Again, not a shop or a house, but that matters not. It's
only there after defeating Gyorg. Between where you first
entered Great Bay Coast and the Pirates' Fortress is now a
boat. Ride it and hookshot the tree on the island with the
fisherman standing on it. Pay 20 Rupees and you can play.
You have to step on the island where the torch is burning.
If you get 20 points without falling in the water, you get a
Piece of Heart.
Gorman Racetrack
At the Gorman Racetrack, talk to the guy in the blue overall
while on Epona and pay 10 Rupees to race them. If you win,
you get the Garo's Mask. Use your carrots efficiently; don't
use them all at once and never use your last one until
you're near the finish. You could jump the fences in the
track, but only if you have enough carrots. You'll have to
be a bit lucky to win this one, but there is some form of
talent involved.
Dampé's House
At the end of the graveyard, next to Skull Keeta, is a door.
It's locked. How annoying. There's absolutely no way to get
inside through that door. There is, however, another way of
getting in: on the final night, using the Captain's Hat,
order the Stalchilds in the graveyard to open the grave. At
the other end of the dark room, go up the stairs. There is
some sort of living quarters here. There's also a door here.
Go through it to find that you just came out of Dampé's
house. This is also the place where you get a bottle (see
chapter 16, "Bottles").
Sakon's Hideout
The place where Sakon hides his stolen goods. The door is a
slab of solid rock. Only Sakon can open it, and it closes
shortly after it's opened. Kafei's mask is being kept
inside, and you should help him get it back. See chapter 20,
"Anju & Kafei Quest" for details.
Secret Shrine
A place behind the waterfall below Ikana Village. To get
there, enter Ikana Canyon from the Road to Ikana Canyon.
Jump in the river with the Octoroks and swim against the
flow (swim to the left). You'll enter a cave. Swim a bit
further and climb out of the water and go through the door.
Now shoot the sun thing above the next door with a Light
Arrow to open it. Go through the door. Hey, it's that Red-
eyed Cyclops guy! He says that there are some old friends of
mine in the chambers ahead, unless you have less than 16
hearts, in which case, he'll send you away :(. Anyway, if
you have 16 hearts or more you can continue. In every room
in here is an old enemy, like the Wart, three Dinolfols.
Defeat them all (you get 100 Rupees for each) and go back to
the center room. The Cyclops is there again. He makes a
Treasure chest appear. Open it for a Piece of Heart.
Music Box House
This house was built by Pamela's father to drive away the
Gibdos in Ikana Canyon. It uses a giant music box to make
happy music that drives away Gibdos. One problem... It's
powered by the river in Ikana Village, but the river is...
well... dried up...
Ghost Hut
A shop run by the Red-Eyed Cyclops guy. It costs 30 Rupees
to play. You have to defeat the four Poes (the Poe Sisters
from Ocarina of Time) within three minutes. If your life
meter comes below three hearts, the game is ended. You
defeat the first three by hitting them with arrows (or just
with your sword) right after they are done swinging their
torches at you. You can defeat the fourth one by shooting
the one that makes a pirouette right after it multiplies. If
you win, you get a Piece of Heart. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AS
GORON LINK!!! You won't be able to shoot anything at the
fourth ghost!

=\0|0/=--- XII) Walkthrough ---=\0|0/=
=\_/= ============================================== =\_/=
Throughout the Walkthrough, I'll sometimes say SAVE TIME!!!
This means that it's a good time to save the game with the
Song of Time. You don't have to save, but I will not say
stuff like "watch your clock!", that is your task.
(If you're a real Zelda-fan, you have named yourself Link,
if you haven't, you're a fag... Well, maybe you aren't...
If you're a girl, you most likely are not.)
You'll see the Prologue, and suddenly (!), you're riding
Epona through the woods, sleeping.
Two fairies will come along and scare Epona, who knocks out
Link. Then, a Skull Kid will come out of the woods, and
steals Link's Ocarina of Time (!!!). The Skull Kid and the
fairies will start arguing about wanting to hold the
ocarina, which wakes Link up. Link will try to grab his
ocarina back, whem Skull Kid decides to run. He sits on
Epona and Link wants a ride. Skull Kid gets rid of Link and
you're up.
-----------------------Woods-----------------------
Slash the bushes for some Rupees and continue through the
black hole in the wall. Slash some more bushes and step on
the log. Jump the gaps and continue the path.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!! Cool cartoons.
You'll land on a Deku flower and Skull Kid tells you he's
ditched Epona. He then turns you into an ugly Deku (all
Dekus are ugly) and you will say NOOO, Deku style! Skull Kid
starts laughing at you and runs off... Well, more like
floats off... You can't follow him, because one of the
fairies holds you up. The door will close and you are
trapped. With the fairy. There's something on her face and
the two of you join forces to fight... Oh, wrong game. Well,
you join forces. Kinda...
Open the door (it's not even locked) and follow the hallway.
Stand on the Deku-flower, and press and hold A until the
flower farts. You'll jump out and you can fly (for a few
seconds). Fly across the gap and open the door. You come
across a room with some platforms. Cross them (open the
chest for some Deku Nuts). Remember the strange plant and
exit the room (It is of vital importance that you remember
that tree).
Movie time (10 Seconds). You enter a place with a river. The
door behind you will lock and you should cross the bridge
up. Go to the door.
WHAA, you startled me. Look who's here, it's the Happy Mask
shop owner from OoT. Listen to his story and go through the
door.
---------------------Clock Town--------------------
You'll find yourself in a town that reminded me of Kakariko
from OoT. Explore town, get familiar with it and return to
the clocktower, where you began. Exit the clock tower again
and turn left, go up the slope, turn left again, up the next
slope, left again, and right in the black hole in the wall.
You'll see a boy in green clothes dancing around. (He's
actually 35 years old). Talk to him and buy a Clock Town
map. In the bottom right corner of the screen, a map should
appear. You are now in North Clock Town, the big area in the
middle is South Clock Town, the big area on the right is
East Clock Town, the small top left area is West Clock Town
and the small area on the bottom-left is the laundry pool.
REMEMBER THAT!
Tatl told you to go to the great Fairy in North Clock Town,
which is where you are. Go to the cave in the west of North
Clock Town. You'll see a lot of small fairies, telling you
that the skull kid turned one great Fairy into a lot of
small fairies, and that one of them is missing. Exit the
cave. If it's daytime, the stray fairy will be in the
laundry pool above the pool. If it's nighttime, the fairy is
in East-Clock town floating too high to grab it. You'll have
to use the Deku Flower (in the west of east Clock Town) to
get it. Now go back to the Fairies in North Clock town and
turn them into the Great Fairy. She will let you shoot balls
o' spit. Doing so will cost you magic power, so don't do it
just for fun. Go outside and pop the blue balloon. Talk to
the excited kid. He wants to play a game of hide 'n' seek.
You have to find five little boys. Two of them are in North
Clock Town, two are in East Clock Town and one of them is in
West-Clock Town. You'll have to corner them in order to
catch them. One of the kids in North Clock Town is hiding
behind the big slide, the other behind the tree on the other
side of the area. Of the kids in East Clock Town, one is on
top of the roof of Latte Milk Bar, which you can access from
the north. The other one is on the thatched rooflet of the
Stock Pot Inn. Just walk underneath him to lure him off of
there, or use the Deku Flower near there to get to the roof.
When you've found them all, they'll give you a code. Write
it down. In East Clock Town, there is a boy with a yellow
cap on his head. Talk to him and give him the code. You'll
enter Clock Town's sewers. Bounce on the water to the torch
and go left. There will be your first enemy, a Skulltula.
You can either go around it or wait for it to turn around
and shoot it in the back. Follow the path to the right.
There, you will see a huge balloon with a Majora's Mask sign
on it. Pop it and break the jars to refill your magic. Go up
the ladder and up the stairs in the observatory. Talk to the
old guy and peek through his telescope. The old man said
that the Skull Kid was on the Clocktower, so look up the
tower.
You'll see Skull Kid dancing a raindance and, whaddayaknow!
A huge fiery raindrop from the moon! Yippee! To your left is
a door. Go through it and go left. There will be a blue
stone in a small crater. Get it and go all the way back to
East Clock Town.
Right, here we are again. Go to South Clock Town. There is a
yellowish brownish Deku-flower on the west side of South
Clock Town. Come near it and a fat Deku will come down from
the tower (if he hasn't already done so when you explored
town). Talk to him again. He says he wants a "Moon's Tear".
When the text "Press START to open the Select Item Screen."
appears, press start, go to the Select Item Screen, bring
the cursor to the Moon's Tear and press C-left, -up, or
-down. Press start and then the button you've set the
moon's Tear to. You'll exchange it for the flower he's
standing on. Now comes the boring part. You have to wait
until the night of the final day, twelve o'clock at night.
You can use the Scarecrow in the Trading Post in West Clock
Town to let time pass in the blink of an eye. Before you go
on, go to the bank in West Clock Town, and deposit your
Rupees on the bank. When the time comes when it's FINALLY
midnight of the third day, burrow yourself into the flower
(press A and hold it for a second), shoot out and fly
towards the ledge on the clocktower (the one with the
blue-red heart (piece of heart) on it). The door will have
opened, and you can go in! You'll see the Skull Kid
floating. You have to fight him!!! So go on, shoot the
bastard. He'll drop his, oh sorry, your ocarina. Get in and
you memorize the Song of Time. Play it on your ocarina, oh
sorry, Deku pipes, and you've saved your game for the very
first time!
SAVE TIME!!!
DAWN OF THE FIRST DAY. You're back on the DAWN OF THE FIRST
DAY, at the entrance of the Clock tower, where you first
entered Clock Town. Go through the door you're in front of
and talk to the mask salesman. He'll teach you the Song of
Healing and he heals you. Well, happy now? You're yourself
again and you've got your Ocarina back. AND you've got the
Deku Mask, which allows you to become Deku Link. Great. Now
it's time to go to your first dungeon! But before we go
there, take a look at the rest of this document, as you can
now collect: Mucho dinero (Spanish for...Mucho dinero), an
adult wallet, the Great Fairy's Mask, the Blast Mask, the
Bremen Mask, the Bunny Hood, Kafei's Mask, Kamaro's Mask,
the Bombers' Notebook, Bombs, a bigger bomb-bag, Bombchus
and a bunch of Pieces of Heart (DEEP BREATH). I REALLY
recommend hitting the owl statue in the northwest of South
Clock Town with your sword, because throughout the
Walkthrough, I might say "Warp to Clock Town" and if you
haven't slashed this statue, you can't warp there, so you'll
have to go on foot. Now, get out of Clock Town by talking to
one of the guards and then walking past them.
-------------------Termina Field-------------------
You'll find yourself on a big field, called Termina Field,
of which Clock Town is the center. Go to the south. Tatl
will make you stop at a tree with a drawing on it. How cute.
Continue to the south. You'll come to an area with a bunch
of ChuChus and Bad Bats. Ignore them (kill them if you must)
and you'll see a big red balloon floating in the air. Go on.
Pop it! Hey, look who's here. It's Tingle. Buy his Woodfall
map for 20 rupees (you do have 20 rupees, right?). Now
continue to the south once more.
-------------------Southern Swamp------------------
Congrats. You're not there yet (not in a million yea....).
See this cabin right in front of you? No? Then go get a new
pair of glasses. Yes? Then go there. Ignore the fat Deku and
enter the cabin. Exit the cabin again and jump down (just
teasin' ya). To the left of the cabin, there is a trail of
giant leafs floating on the "water". DO NOT step on them.
Turn yourself into Deku Link. Now step on them. Follow the
trail until you come to gate wih a pot of boiling goo next
to it. Go through the gate and kill the Deku Babas. You will
see a cabin up in a dead tree. Climb the ladder and go in
the cabin. Listen to. AAAH! It's Kotake! Kill her! No, wait,
listen to her story. Everything is fine, right? Okay. Exit
the cabin and jump off the ledge on the right. To your
right, on the map up, is a dark cave. Enter it.
-----------------Woods of Mystery------------------
Look, mommy, it's a monkey, can I take it home with me? Talk
to him...her...it... and follow... it. If you're having
trouble following, take a look at chapter 9, "The Map".
AAAH! It's Koume! Kill her! Oh wait, someone already did.
She says it was the Skull Kid, but we all know it was you,
in OoT (naughty child). She wants you to get her something
to help her (Shigeru Miyamoto, make up your MIND: Kill her
or save her life?). So go back to Kotake (enter a dark hole
with a sign in front of it). After talking to Kotake, she
will give you a red potion FOR FREE!!! With an EMPTY BOTTLE
which is not empty at all, but it's called an Empty Bottle.
Now go back to the woods of Mystery and follow the monkey
again. Give Koume the red potion. She will greedily drink
all of it. Now you're done here, so get out.
-------------------Southern Swamp------------------
When you get out, the three monkeys will explain that the
Deku have taken their brother. Follow the monkeys AND DO IT
FAST. They will disappear at the river. Turn yourself into
an ugly nasty Deku and make Link do the same. Follow the
river to the right and enter the cabin. Talk to the lady in
the hut to the right. It's Koume! Kill her! And take a boat
cruise. You'll get a free camera (cheap crap: black
and...yellow). During the ride, you will kill a giant squid.
Good boy... or girl... Shortly after that, you get the
chance to get off the boat. Do so and there is the monkey
again! Follow him in.
--------------------Deku Palace--------------------
Turn into a Deku to gain access to the palace. Even though
it is not allowed, go to the right. Now you have to get
through the garden without being seen by the guards. This
isn't all too ha
