1. Story
========
Here's the basic plot....
The lylat system has been a peaceful place to live for many years, at one time
Dr. Andross tried to take control of his home planet, Corneria, but General
Pepper captured him, and had him exiled to Venom. Five years later, General
Peppers recieved word of strange experiments coming fromt he planet Venom, So he
sent James McCloud, Peppy Hare, and Pigma Dengar to investigate. Once they
arrive, Pigma betrays them, James cannot espace, but peppy does, and tells Fox
McCloud what has happened. One by one, the planets all fall to Andross except
Corneria, and general pepper assembles a new team to overthrow Andross, composed
of Fox McCloud, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, and Falco Lombardi.

3. Secrets
==========
Play on Foot in Vs. Mode
To be able to play as a charecter from the star fox team in VS. Mode, you need
to earn a medal on Venom in EXPERT Mode.
Play with Tanks in Vs. Mode
To play as a tank in VS. Mode, you need to earn a medal on Venom on any
difficulty.
Expert Mode
To unlock Expert Mode, get a medal on every level. You will also be able to to
do a sound test as well.
Control the Logo
At the title screen rotate the control stick continuosly, the logo will move
around, and the star foz team will watch it go around, and around.
New Title Screen
To get a new title screen get a medal on all 15 levels in EXPERT mode.
Secret Star Fox Art
Complete the game in Expert Mode and wait for the end of the credits. Depending
on whether you went through Venom 1 or 2, you will get two different pieces of
art. I'm not telling what they are, you'll have to earn them yourself by beating
expert mode, which is a hard task.
Refuel in Sector Z
Fly into the hangar of the great fox in Sector Z if you are low on energy. A
short cinema will play, then you will exit out of the other end of the ship with
your energy full!
Aiming Sight
To get rid of your aiming cursor pause the game and press R, the cursor will now
be gone, to reverse the effect just pause again and hit R.

5. VS. Mode
===========
Here i will explain the 3 Vs. Modes, how to play them, and provide a strategy to
winning the 3 different modes. Enjoy!

Time Trial
********************
-Explanation-
In this mode you will play on the planet Katina, you can select the time limit
you play, from 1 minute, to 5 minutes. The object is to destroy more of the
ships flying around Katina, than your opponents, you need from 1-4 players to
play this mode. If you shoot down a human opponent it will not count as a ship
down, however, that person will lose all of the ships he's destroyed, and their
counter will be back to 0, useful if they are ahead of you.
This mode is played in all-range mode, which is a platform layout. The controls
are the same for the plane as they are in one player mode, check out the
sections for the tank, and characters for controls on them.
-Strategy-
This is pretty simple if you know what to do, and when to do it, first of all,
your first priority is to stay alive at all costs, which should not be a problem
since everyone else will be shooting at the enimies, not you. Allright, first
off, try and get either the laser updgrade, or smart bomb, if you can get both,
get them! Then destroy as many enimies as you can until there is 1 minute
remaining, and save your smart bomb if you have one. If you are in first place,
just keep shooting down enimies if no one comes after you. If they do, since
they are in second, try and get them to chase you around, and just, well, stay
alive! run away from them, if they follow, keep running. If they do not follow
get back to shooting down enimies. Ok, if you are in 2ND, go after the 1rst
place man, and shoot him DOWN, use your smart bomb to lock onto them if you have
one. Then he will have 0 ships down, and you will be in first, bwah ha ha! If
you are in 3rd, or 4th, well...your screwed, there is little hope for you my
friend, your only chance is to take out either the 2 or 3 people ahead of
you(depending what place you are in). But you should be in 1rst or at least 2nd
when there is one minute left...that is if you followed my strategy...

Battle Royal
********************
-Explanation-
This is an all-range mode layout, which is to be played with 2-4 people. You can
play on the planet Corneria or Sector X. The time limit is anywhere from 1
minute, to 5 minutes, and the controls are the same. The object is to kill
everyone that is against you, if you are killed once, you are out of the match
and have lost. You must be the last man standing to win!
-Strategy-
*For Sector X*
This level is my least favorite, but that doesn't really matter. there are
pieces of space crap everywhere, which you can conveineintly run into. In order
to win this you must learn to manuver through the objects floating around. Since
it only takes 1 kill to remove someone from the match go after someone that is
not currently being chased, if that is not possible go after whoever has the
least energy. My strategy for winnning this is a Hit and Run. Fly in and fire as
many shots as you can WHILE barrel rolling, then after you pass them use your
rocket boost and get as far away as you can. then repeat the same thing, if they
catch on to what you are doing then you can try this strategy: This one works
pretty well against my friends, and it's fun to do too, once someone starts
chasing you around, start flying towards some space crap, weave around all the
metal stuff, eventually they will either: Crash and you will have defeated them
or: turn around and run. if they do this all you need to do is a simple U-Turn,
and they won't have enough time to escape, you can now follow them around and
blast them. if they brake, brake, if the boost, boost, if they somehow get
behind YOU, do a loop. This is pretty much a sure fire way to win. Below are
some general tips for the level:
Get good and weaving through the space junk.
Always barrel roll when near an enemy, it deflects the lasers.
Try and get the laser, or bomb upgrades, or both.
If someone locks on to you, do a loop to lose the lock.
Always lock on to a player before fire off a bomb.
Use the radar!
*For Corneria*
This level is fun, and oh so easy! First go get the bomb, and\or laser upgrade.
Then just follow someone, and fire away, if you mirror everything they do, while
still shooting there is NO WAY they can get away! the only time to fly off while
following someone is if you, yourself are being followed. otherwise just blast
the poor sap till' they die. Just do this until there is 1 player left. Try and
have a bomb too, it makes it quicker, but you don't need it. When there is one
player left there should be no problem in dispatching them, that is if they are
a plane, and you are too. To defeat tanks is the easiest, they are slow, just
blast them away. To defeat characters, oh, what a pain. To defeat them i would
take my chances and be a character as well, make sure you get the bomb, forget
the laser. Then bomb the sucker, they will have little life left, and even if
they have been shooting at you you should have at least twice as much life as
them. Now what to do? Here's an idea...finish them off before you get shot down
yourself. Here are some general tips:
Experiment with the 3 different vehicles, decide what works best for you.

Remember that characters, and tanks are seldom seen on the radar, use this to

Point Match
********************
-Explanation-
Point match is a little like battle royal, the object is to get points the
quickest. You can set how many points you need to win from 1 to 5. To get a
point you need to kill an enemy once, once you get a point a star will appear
next to your name. You can play on either Sector X or Corneria for this mode of
play. It is for 2-4 players. And oh yah this is an all-range mode layout as
well. Onto the strategy...
-Strategy-
*For Sector X*
Not much else to say on this course, just follow the basic strategy explained
above for battle royal with this one exeption: If another person is about to
kill someone, fly over there, finish off the dude, and you will get the point,
even though you've shot at them a little bit. This trick works like a charm, and
makes you 100% impossible to beat after a few hours of practice!
*For Corneria*
Use the tatics explained in the battle royal strategy for Corneria and also use
this trick: If another person is about to kill someone, fly over there, finish

6. Training
===========
Your probably wondering what possible thing i could have to say about training
mode, well this section is just a borad description of training, and for the
hopelessly bad it might even help. Let me say right now if you cannot pass
training, you, well, suck. sorry..
Ok there are a few little things in training, first off, if you can pass
training easily, but don't think you are ready yet there is one thing you can
do. If you get 100 hits, a ship will appear, and follow you, shooting at you,
this is great practice for star wolf and his henchmen. Once you kill it, it
keeps coming back, repeat this until you feel you are ready to play the main
game. Let's see..what else is there, oh yah, there's....NOTHING! this is
training people! Onto the main game!

7. Characters
=============
*Fox McCLoud*
The young, but strong leader of the Star Fox team, Fox has vowed to destroy
Andross and save corneria. Part of Fox's Ambition comes from the fact that
Andross captured his father - James McCloud.
*Falco Lombardi*
Falco is a highly skilled pilot and is known for his temper, he is somewhat
jealous of Fox, which leads to a couple of fights between the two. However, he
is the most skilled out of your three wing men.
*Peppy Hare*
Peppy, a wise rabbit, was part of the original Star Fox team, he escaped from
Venom earlier in his career. He offers some great advice once in a while, so
listen when he speaks up.
*Slippy Toad*
Slippy, a young pilot, is anm extremly poor pilot, his skills are not that
great. But his technical skill is the best, he provides you with the boss meter
and scans for their weakness. Whenever he speaks up he's being shot at, which is
quite often. He also built the Blue Marine.
*General Pepper*
The head of the Cornerian army, General Pepper has hired the Star Fox team to
defeat Andross. He has provided the vehicles for the Star Fox team, and expects
them to return them in top shape, however he feels responsible for the whole
team. He will give you your misison briefing.
*ROB 64*
The robotic captain of Great Fox, ROB 64 will occasionly give you messages,
respond to them, and he will send down some supplies. He is a great addition to
the Star Fox Team.
*Bill*
Fox's longtime friend, Bill now has his own airial fleet, his flying skills are
quite good, and he might just pop in and out when you need him.
*Katt*
Katt, the only female pilot in the game, has a crush on falco, she intends to
show off her flying skills in front of falco.
-Andross-
Andross is a genius, but his thoughts have grown evil, and he is now a crazed
madman trying to control the world. He has assembled his own group of pilots,
The Star Wolf Team.
-Leon-
One of the members in the Star Wolf team, his flying skills are 3rd best on the
team, his rival is Falco. There is nothing he would rather do than destroy him.
-Andrew-
The absolute worst pilot in the Star Wolf team, fortunatly for slippy this is
his rival.
-Pigma-
The 2nd best pilot in the Star Wolf team, Pigma was part of the original Star
Fox team, but he betrayed his fellow teammates. Now he is looking to destroy the
new generation of Star Fox.
-Wolf-
The best pilot andross has, Wolf's skills nearly match that of Fox's, he is a
ruthless pilot who will not stop until Fox McCloud is destroyed.

8. Boss FAQ
===========
Here i will present a walkthrough on how to beat every boss in the game. Here is
the layout i will use:
Boss ##
Difficulty: Rating from 1-5 on how difficult it is to beat, 5 being the hardest.
Found: Where it's found
Description: What is looks like, duh!
Attacks: what it does to attack you.
ok, onto the bosses!
Boss #1
Difficulty: *
Found: At the end of the first level.
Description: Medium-sized robot with legs, arms, and a uhh...head.
Attacks: Missles.
This is easy, even for a first-level boss...at the very beginning just use your
laser(hopefully at least twin) to take out ONE of his legs, forget firing at
anything else, just concentrate on shooting his leg. Once his leg is destroyted
he will fall, making him immobile and a sitting duck. Don't bother wasting nova
bombs, just fire at the green thing on his back and he should be gone in about
10 seconds!
Boss #2
Difficulty: *
Found: At the end of the First level, in a secret area.
Description: Large ship with thee areas that open and close.
Attacks: Missles, ships that it deploys.
As if the first boss wasn't easy enough...this one is easier, sadly...just focus
in on the right of the ship at the start, and when the unit opens, blast the
living crap out of it. it should fall off before it has time to close. Now go to
the left side of the ship, and wait for the other 2 to open, only this time they
will open at the same time. Solution: fire in the middle of them both, you can
get enough hits to at least take one unit out, and damage the other so you can
fully destroy it by the second time it opens. When they fall off, just shoot at
the remains of the ship, anywhere, just don't ever stop firing, no matter what.
After about 7 seconds of doing this(yes, even less than the first one) it will
explode.
