I have finish all but one hopping haystack and whenever I go to get him,it will jump over the picthfork.
A mistake that I always made was to go behind the haystack. Try standing in front of it, and then jump at the last second. This should cause the pitchfork to lunge right into the haystack.

statusIIRC you have to hit the haystack with your frying pan then get on the pitchfork and kill the haystack

Try saving the biggest haystack for last, hence making him an easier target.
