I press the button sequence yet I still haven't unlocked the code. How do you enter the cheats?
Also, make sure it's a actual Cheat menu code. Some codes are for use during gameplay only (like in the middle of a level) and thus won't do anything in the cheat menu.

statusMake sure you enter it quick and you should hear a sound when done, the cheat should be unlocked.

You pressed start and then do it while it's paused

Some are done in-game (pause and enter) and some are done in the Cheat Options menu. (Enter, listen for a tone, exit the menu then go back in and you'll see the cheat now unlocked.)
