"The greatest stealth game for the N64. Highly recommended!"

WinBack: Covert Operations is the greatest stealth game for the N64. You are Jean-Luc Couger, a member of an anti-terrorist team known as S.C.A.T.(I forgot what it stands for). A terrorist orginization called the ''Crying Lions'' have tooken over a military satellite base and have used it to destroy a space center. But, it takes several hours to charge up after each blast. While it is charging up, you must retake(or WinBack) the base before they fire it again.

Your leader, Daniel Stewart, is discussing the situation with your team on a helicopter. Soon, the engine starts failing and your team jumps off the helicopter. You're the last to jump, and when you do, the helicopter explodes, leaving your whole team separated. This is when your mission begins.

Graphics: 8/10 The characters are animated greatly, and the levels look realistic, but there's not much of a backround, and the character's faces never change, even when they die.

Sound: 7/10 The sounds are pretty basic(the gunshots, the ''uungh''s and the ''oophf''s when you shoot someone, ect.).
They even say ''Stop right there!'' or ''Freeze!'' when they spot you. Other than that, they're pretty basic sounds.

Control: 8/10 It's quite difficult if you're playing it for the first time(it wasn't for me, I mastered the controls in 5 minutes), but once you know what does what, it's gets easier. I like the way you can hide up against a wall, and then just pop up right beside the corner and kill the guy with your handgun. It makes you feel like you're playing Time Crisis.

Camera: 7/10 The camera isnt that great. In fact, it's probably the main problem. It isn't bad enough to make you hate the game, it just gets annoying sometimes.

Fun: 9/10 The story mode gets quite boring after a while. I would've rated this 7/10 until I found about sudden death and infinite ammo game modes. Multiplayer is really good with all characters.

Story: 10/10 The story is completely unpredictable, and that's why it deserves a 10. the only problem is that some characters only appear once, then they die(bosses, ect.). There are surprises all over the place, and it's like a top-notch action movie.

Overall: 9/10 Overall, this is a great game to own. There might be a couple of problems, and it's better if you get the extra game modes. Rent or buy, the choice is yours. I rented it for three days, now I'm gonna buy it!
