"Better than Goldeneye?"

Introduction
Turok 2 seeds of evil is arguably the best first person shooter on the Nintendo 64 next to 007 Golden eye. For its time it has some of the best game play and playtime on the system. Turok 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It has great graphics and gore that's not too over the top gore.

Game play 9/10
The most important part of a game, and this one really delivers. There is a huge collection of weapons to choose from, ranging from a wooden bow and arrow to a scorpion missile launcher. This game has by far the best set of weapons on the Nintendo 64, including the vomit-inducing Cerebral Bore, which I think is the best weapon ever made. You play through six well detailed and very long levels. Each level has a different race of enemy. This game also has some of the best enemies I've ever seen in a game. Each level is very unique in its design. Some levels are high tech while others are primitive. The AI in this game is great for a Nintendo 64 game, the enemies will roll, and take cover from your shots. Each level involves key collecting to unlock levels accessed from the hub just like Turok:Dinosaur hunter, and like Turok: Dinosaur Hunter there is a lot of backtracking, which is one of the few faults in the game. Some times you might miss a key or objective, and have to go all the way back to the beginning of the level. It is also very easy to get lost in the maze-like levels. Overall this game has solid game play and is very fun, but can get a little frustrating at times.

Graphics 10/10
Amazing, this game, in my opinion has the best graphics on the Nintendo 64. The graphics would be considered good even by todays standards, especially
if you are playing with an expansion pak. The blood and gore look realistic and when you blow off an enemies head or limbs the game doesn't slow down a bit. The creatures look incredible and well modeled. The weapons also look really good. The levels in this game are breathtaking, there are nice water and light effects to go along with the enemies. The bosses are all huge and look great. The graphics in this game are flawless. The master weapon in this game also looks very nice, just like the Turok: Dinosaur Hunter one.

Sound 10/10
The music is great in this game. The creatures all sound good, and the sound the cerebral bore makes is bone-chilling. You can here the weapons clearly with no problems. The voice acting is clear and easy to understand. In the background you can here seagulls and fighting. The water also sounds very good. Overall this game has good music and sound effects.

Story 10/10
You play as the current Turok Joshua Fire seed, and have to stop an evil being called the Primagen from escaping from his lightship. At the end of each level you have to protect an energy totem from being destroyed by the Primagens minions. If he destroys all five of them he will be freed and will destroy the universe. There is also Talismans you have to collect to obtain the keys to the lightship so you can fight the Primagen.

Replay Value 8/10
After you beet the game once you will be able to start a second quest. The cheats are also fun to mess around with. If you don't feel like using codes to unlock the cheats you can beat each level on all difficulties to unlock them as well.

Play time 10/10
This game will keep you busy for a couple of months if you don't use a guide. All six of the levels are EXTREMELY long and difficult. If you manage to beat it without cheating or using a guide congratulations.

Rent or Buy?
Definitely buy. I think you can still find it in a few game stores for less than ten dollars if you can find it you should buy it.

Overall 10/10
Up and down one of the best games of all time. Great game play, stunning graphics, and amazing sound make this a great game. If you can get past the frustrating difficulty and backtracking you will love this game.
