The New Tetris

"A good game!!!"

This game is fun to play with friends. It’s a nice game but it needs some work. This games got this real cool feature that shows a shadow of where the block is going to drop. It’s a real nice feature but sometimes it messes you up. I don’t know but when I played this game my eyes started to hurt. I have no idea why they just did. The game is a nice game and its music, sounds, graphics, and controls are all very nice. The game is a great tetris game to play with friends but along it spells trouble. The game has some cool levels and the music was chosen very well. The game is very easy to control. Sometimes I mess up because the d-pad down makes them go slowly down and up on the d-pad makes them drop like a rock and sometimes I had a hard time controlling this but overall the control is manageable.

GAMEPLAY **9**

The game is very easy to control but sometimes I messed up on it. They could have put the buttons to make the buttons go down on the L and R buttons but on the D-pad it sometimes messed me up. The A button changes the way the block it setting and works very good. The D-pad to move the blocks left or right seems a little touchy but overall was very very responsive and works good with the game. The control on this game is fairly simple to use and deserves a 9.

SOUND / MUSIC **9**

The games sounds and all of the music in this game are all great sounding and are very pleasing to hear. When the blocks hit the other blocks they make a sound but that’s about all for the sounds. Theres plenty of music to choose from in this game. All of the music is very detailed and was chosen wisely. If you don’t like the music you can change it during the game by hitting the start button and so on. Theres all kinds of music to choose from for any type of music fan.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **9**

The games graphics are all smooth and look very good. The blocks are very smooth and have a nice flat texture to them. The levels that you play in are all very detailed with all sorts of things. The game is very detailed and looks good. As stated in the intro the game has a shadow that shows you were the block would go if it were put there already. This sometimes messes me up but works very good. The graphics and levels in this game are all very detailed and look very good.

REPLAYABILITY **7**

The game is very long and would take quite some time to beat but you may get bored of it before then. The game is fairly simple to play and get a lot of lines if you take your time playing it. If you get in a hurry you will get hardly any lines before you loose so take your time playing. The game is fun to play with friends but also will get boring. The game is fun to play but not fun enough to keep it lasting.

CHALLENGE **8**

Take your time and this game will be fairly easy. When you get in a hurry you panick and mess up. The game is very long, as you have to get so many lines to beat a level. The computers skill can be changed but I feel that it doesn’t change very much. This game is either challenging or not depending on how you play the game.

BUY OR RENT

Well the game is a very good tetris game but it feels like its missing something. I would suggest wait till the price drops. Read the review you decide.
